“Bulloch House Warm Springs...what a find!”
Reviewed 29 March 2014

Beauty of an old historic home turned into a restaurant. Buffet style or order off menu. But the best is the buffet...some of the best fried chicken I have ever had and they had pulley bones. All the veggies are great. The sweet potato soufflé is wonderful, almost like dessert. Wait staff are very attentive and friendly. Fried green tomatoes are wonderful. Yellow squash soufflé is just as my grandmother made. We ate lunch. Did not have time to eat at supper on Friday night but sure it is wonderful. Do not miss this place.

“Great Sunday Lunch Buffett”
Reviewed 29 March 2014

Wasn't sure what to expect given some of the reviews, but we were very happy with our meals. We opted for the buffet and were pleasantly surprised. The fried chicken is wonderful. Juicy and the breading is delightful. The fried chicken livers were also very good. The fried apples and green tomatoes were good as well. As you can see, this is southern comfort food writ large - virtually all fried, but tasty. We had the seven layer chocolate cake and the hot fudge cake - both were a disappointment. Don't waste the cost on the dessert, just go get another piece of the fried chicken!

“Best southern cooking around!”
Reviewed 24 March 2014

This is definitely not a health-conscious establishment or for dieters, but man is it a nice splurge on some home-cooked southern comfort food! Everything is delicious, especially their fried chicken and fried catfish. My favorite is their fried apples - they are thin-sliced, battered & fried like fried green tomatoes - delicious! Make sure to save room for their out-of-this-world banana pudding (served warm) or peach cobbler. The restaurant is in a beautiful old home built in 1893. People come here by the busloads, even from out of state, to eat here! We always have to eat here each year when we come down to Callaway Gardens. An added plus are all the great little shops and antique stores in Warm Springs - a hidden gem!

“Food was Decent- Nothing Special”
Reviewed 9 March 2014

I had the buffet at the Bulloch House. It was nothing special just ordinary Southern cooking. If I was in Warm Springs again, I would probably look to eat elsewhere. However, there are not many places to eat in that small town. It appears that they have a captive audience so no matter what people will eat there.

“Ordered off the menu”
Reviewed 16 February 2014

Most people that were eating at the same time as us seemed to come for the buffet lunch. But I scoped out the buffet offerings and decided the fare was too southern for me (I'm not from the South). So my friend and I ordered from the menu. She got a Bacon, Lettuce and Fried Green Tomato sandwich. She gave me a taste and it was pretty good. I had the grilled chicken salad. It was excellent. The chicken was tender and there was plenty of it. Loved the setting in the old home. There is a nice gift shop next to the House.
