Washington is a very small town in middle Georgia with very limited choices for restaurants. However, Talk of the Town would hold its own in a city with many more choices. This roomy café is located in the historic downtown part of Washington and is co-owned by two Washington residents. One of the owners is in charge of the kitchen while the other owner is in charge of the front of house. The menu boasts several original sandwiches, burgers, and soups, with something to please everyone's palate. Everything is homemade, from the potato salad that comes with your meal to the cupcakes brought in from the local bakery. The atmosphere is pleasant, with the café well lit and inviting. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They truly want you to have the best possible experience every time you visit. My boyfriend and I have ate at Talk of the Town for over a year now, and we haven't been disappointed yet! You will not regret stopping at Talk of the Town!
