My barbecue guru once told me, "If you can't see the heat, don't eat the meat." Meaning, if the place doesn't cook the meat outdoors, with wood and all the glorious smoke thereof, then don't bother.
Lemme just say, I don't see no pit out behind Dickey's "Pit" Barbecue. Once again, the guru spoke wisdom. Those who fail to heed it...go forth to their peril.
