We went on Scout Day & the boys loved it. We were able to pass off so many things for our scouts!

“Beautiful birds, great cause”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2012

Support this center, they do great work. Birds of prey are so important to the food-chain and they are gorgeous. You can get really close to the birds and the docents do a good job of answering questions. Highly recommended. Beautiful area and nature walk.

“Awesome”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 May 2012

This was a wonderful experience. The buildings and grounds are attractive, the staff friendly and the birds beautiful. Each of these birds has been saved and healed by the Center. They are lliving their life here because they could not survive in the wild. This makes it feel much better than a zoo. The information signs say just enough and tours are available. Check a map before you leave, it is a half hour's drive out of Boise and we got lost.

“Boring”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 May 2012

The "bird show" was terrible, our family expected to see something more than a handler holding a half blind, partially deaf bird while she gave a 15 minute speech on the importance of protecting falcons. She asked for it to remain as silent as possible and when a parent got up to remove their crying baby from the audience she asked that people not move from their chairs, not sure how both requests could be fulfilled in such a circumstance. When she opened the session for questioning, she was annoyed that people were asking questions. It is almost like she didn't expect anyone to take her up on her offer.
