Our next stop on our road trip landed us in Boise, Idaho. We found Hotel 43 through trip advisor and we agree! A very comfortable hotel, clean, and good bed and sheets. The attached steakhouse Chandler's was also a lovely meal options. A junior suite as a good value!

Hotel is conveniently located downtown. Easy walk to restaurants, shopping, State Capitol, etc. and other attractions downtown.

Check-in was very efficient and desk associate friendly and each time I walked through the lobby they acknowledged me and said hello.

Room contained two beds, desk and chair and a sitting chair. There were plenty of electrical outlets for the electronics. The bed was very comfortable and made for a good nights sleep; room was quiet. The sink area for the bathroom was separate from the toilet and shower area. Overall, everything was in working order in the room and it was clean.

Parking is $12 a night (valet or self-park). If you self-park, the parking is very close to the lobby.

Stayed her for 1 night, and was impressed. Great location on the edge of downtown, friendly staff, and a very comfy bed. I also ate at the steakhouse adjacent, and was very satisfied. Only small issue was that the bathroom was a little dim

We stayed this past week with a large wedding party and were blown away by Hotel 43. Every staff member was courteous and willing to go above and beyond any request. The rooms were very comfortable and the bed was divine. The suite was spacious and suited for our needs. We ate breakfast down stairs and also had room service. Every dish we tried was yummy and perfect portions. Coffee bar in lounge was so convenient. The attached restaurant, Chandlers Steakhouse, had a great bar that served amazing drinks. They handled our large gatherings in the bar with ease. The location is 2 blocks from a perfect street to hang out on...N 8th Street... full of restaurants, a brewery, and even a great little frozen yogurt shop. We were able to visit the capital just a few blocks away. We even spoke with Val Kilmer who was in the lobby of the hotel. The on site gym is tiny, but the front desk will give you a pass to the YMCA down the street. It was a great 4 day stay for us all!

A nice boutique hotel with a great location in downtown Boise, within walking distance to all the best attractions. Chandlers Steakhouse downstairs is fantastic restaurant and bar, and a huge bonus to staying here. We had a king room on the third floor. We almost did not stay at this hotel due to other reviews that commented on small baths and bedrooms. The staff allowed us to look at the room before we booked, and we thought it was fine. We are so glad we stayed here! Although not large, the room was standard size, and not cramped for two people. The bathroom was small but adequate, and the sink had enough room for a shaving kit on one side and a women's toilet kit on the other, with room for extra toiletries on a shelf under the sink. Decor is fresh, comfortable and modern. A very comfortable bed, maybe a bit on the soft side for some, but we slept very well. Lastly, we were pleasantly surprised by the room prices and felt we had excellent value. Apparently the 5th & 6th floors were added to the hotel during a major remodel, and those rooms are larger, but they were all booked while we were here. We will stay here the next time we are in town to visit our son at Boise State. Read our separate review of Chandler's Steakhouse.

Room Tip: Rooms on 5th and 6th floors are newer & larger.

Our double bed room at Hotel 43 was very nicely appointed. It was a bit on the small side, though. There was just enough space for the two beds, a small chair and the desk. The bathroom was also quite small. The beds were very comfortable. We were in Boise during the heat wave and we did notice that the air conditioner was a bit loud when running. The location is great. It's a short walk to the Capitol Building, Moon's (for milkshakes), Flying M Cafe (for coffee and a simple breakfast). The only thing missing was a swimming pool.
