“A Tavola is my favorite place for coffee, pastry and conversation.”

This cafe and bakery gets all the details right. Friendly service, great coffee and too many delectable baked goods to choose between are the highlights of this lovely spot in Boise's Linen District. I hear the lunch is good, too!

“Wonderful food with urban chic venue”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 December 2012

Open at 15th and Grove for the past year this is a great place to go for breakfast and particularly for lunch. There are many selections with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and great seasonings. The espresso bar is great too. They sell a good variety of gourmet sauces, chocolates, and other foods to tempt you along with some great gift items. They do not take reservations so going between noon and 1:00 for lunch will be busy as it is a popular place. Enjoy.

“Amazing food and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 September 2012

We attend a rehearsal dinner here and the food was wonderful! They served beef, chicken with asparagus, roasted potatoes, heirloom tomatoes with buffalo mozzarella, roasted carrots, mixed salad, wonderful breads, and for you dessert lovers, they allowed us to pick ANYTHING we wanted from the case! This included huckleberry cheesecake to brownies and cookies. They also had wonderful coffee. I wish I could have gone back for another meal, but this is a true gem in Boise. Great to go to for casual dine-in or take away for a picnic or back to your hotel room.

“Restaumarkedeli”

Whether you come to shop, nosh, breakfast, brunch, or lunch, A Tavola is such a treat. It reminds me of a small Zabars, only a bit more organized. You won't mind standing in line, because there are so many delicious distractions. Boiseans know the name Lisa Peterson from her stints with the Co-op and the Idaho Shakespeare Festival. It's obvious this is the object of her affection and a dream come true for her customers. Try anything and everything.
