Best in Boise, bar none. We go often, even though we buy more than we should. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. There is no comparison for something like croissants. We did a taste test with Coop's croissants and Coop's tasted like Sysco made them. But jonjou's were buttery, delicate, yet the right texture. A latte and a couple of pastries is heaven .

“A little bit of Europe in Boise”
Reviewed 2 June 2013

Janjou has the freshest pastries available west of New York. I tried the pain au chocolat, croissants, lemon tart, caramel tart, and a bostock. All fresh and at their peak. These are pastries you don't travel with. You eat them there... in one sitting. :)

“Go Here. NO REALLY Go Here”

Best Coffee in Boise. Best Coffee I've ever had in the United States. Pastries are oh so perfect. The croissants to die for. It is everything you would expect from a small quality pattsserie. Really a remarkable establishment for this town. Hey, the pastries are not HUGE and they are not CHEAP. They are appropriately sized and fairly priced for the level of quality. Can you tell I love ths place?
