This park was dedicated to. Julia Davis, by her land barren husband, following her death. It is designated for gathering space only ... Including picnics, playing, visiting, events. But had it written into the deed that if it was built upon or used for other purposes, the property would revert back to he ( or his family).
It is a lovely park, in the downtown area that is a perfect area for those I tended gatherings. We walked through it for a pleasant afternoon stroll, enjoying the geese families, who make it their home too.
Side note, Mr. Davis planted some 7,000 trees and is credited for developing the city of Boise.
