“Ridge to Rivers Trails are a Runner's Delight”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

As a runner, I use the ridge to rivers trails often. They are easily accessible, offer miles of trails for runners, mountain bikers, and equestrians alike (I have even seen a trail unicycle!). The hills also challenge your legs and lungs. the scenes are always changing with the seasons and the soft ground is easy on your joints. Dogs are welcome, too, but you must bring a leash, pick up your dog's poop, and follow rules about on-leash and off-leash trails.

“45 minute "fitness loop"for peeps and dogs”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

Good parking, doggy bags, delightful streams and wonderful view of downtown Boise. You'll ascend enough of an elevation gain to work your heart but then it's all ridge and gentle downhill with magnificent views of the treasure valley and about the closest overlook of the skyscrapers in the heart of downtown Boise. I've done it for years every Sunday, and the trail system just keeps getting better!

“Great trails!”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

Well maintained, varied terrain for all levels of riders, hikers, and runners. Muddy when it rains so best in dry weather.

“Thank you Ridge to Rivers”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

Ridge to Rivers trail systems is amazing! There are more trails than I ever imagined. It's nice you can start a hike out in the same spot but because there are so many options you can do a completely different hike each time. We enjoyed the FootHills Frenzy this past year on these trails.
