“A well kept secret!”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

From south, headed home from vacation. Nicest, but most economical hotel in 2 weeks. Read reviews. Couldn't make sense of high ratings with low price. Very nice hotel and rooms. Well maintained; surprised to learn it was 8 years old. Huge bathroom with toilet in separate room. Soaking tub AND separate shower. Outside wet bar in main room nice for making coffee while others using bathroom. Only deficiencies minor: one main switch for bathroom light AND exhaust fan, which was very loud, and could disturb a sleeper. Would suggest a nightlight for finding way to bathroom during night, and avoid having to leave very bright, noisy bathroom light/exhaust fan on. Management aware of wi-fi issues, and provided a separate router in my room which worked very well until updated building-wide.

We really loved our stay here. I have 4 little kids (All under 8) and the room was large enough, perfectly clean, and we all felt safe. The breakfast was amazing, the pool was perfect for little kids and the staff was accomodating and friendly. We will definitely stay here again!

The price was right too. When we compared the price to others... We saved about $40 per night to stay here and in my opinion, it was better. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this Hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed in a double queen room and it had a pull out sofa bed. It was plenty for my wife and I...

This is a step above most other hotels. The materials in construction are upscale. It la4ge rooms. Huge bathrooms with both shower and tub and toilet in seperate room. Microwave fridge nice decor. The bed is very comfortable. The fresh cookies and evening snacks and super great free breakfast. Nice business center a great pool. Service was first rate and a nice snack pantery. Lots of park8ng in great paet of town by some very great places to eat.
So why wont I repeat. I come to boise a week a month to work anr their internet sucks. Its one of the slowest of any hotel around. Slow on all 3 of my devices. Also the tv will not rotate to where it can be see while working at the desk. So no internet and cant watch tv whjle you work at desks is a deal breaker for me in an otherwise wonderful hotel.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the many positive aspects you cited, but also wanted to address the wi-fi. We are actively addressing the issue, which, while not hotel wide, can impact certain areas depending on usage. A solution should be in place in the next few weeks. We do offer plug in ethernet access as well. Should you visit Boise in the near future, be sure to check back in with us and see if the installation is complete. We would love the opportunity to serve your lodging needs again. Thanks again for commenting.

Traveling from Oregon to Minnesota. By far the best pet friendly hotel we stayed in. Very clean. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Nice pillows. Awesome 'happy hour' and made to order breakfast. Wish there were more Oxford Suites in the midwest.

We recently stayed at the Oxford Suites in Boise, Idaho for our son's wedding. It was the best experience we have had at a hotel. The service was excellent, including the wedding reception held in their ballroom. The entire staff from desk personnel, housekeeping, chefs were all friendly, easy to work with and most accommodating to the individual needs of our many guests. The front desk personnel were knowledgeable about the area and offered suggestions and directions when needed. The hotel also features a full breakfast buffet and evening cocktails with light refreshments, a very nice added benefit. There were approximately 25 rooms reserved by our guests to the wedding, and everyone complimented the accommodations and services provided. Among those guests in our group, we used the swimming facilities, the laundry, exercise room, business room, dining & bar area and the ballroom. The catering staff was easy to work with and very accommodating to our son & daughter-in-law's wishes. The food was excellent and their service was super. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling within their locales.

This was a stop on the way back from Yellowstone. I regret not booking another day. The hotel was exceptional, everything sparkled. The grounds are attractive and well kept. You can walk to Wal-Mart and Costco (with gas); it is next to a shopping center with anything you would want to do, buy or eat. The room made us feel special, it blew us away! Two comfortable queen beds, a sofa, coffee table, desk with two chairs, separate sink with plenty of counter space near micro and good sized frig. Bathroom had a soak tub with separate shower and sink. When you walk into the bathroom the vanity is so impressive, with a shelf on either side and underneath, a shaving mirror, it must be over six feet long! So much room and so clean. I had to do laundry and the laundry room was next to the business center (two computers, printers) with everything you need, there is also a large fitness center. That evening we got two drinks, salad, salsa, chips, soup, cheese and the morning full breakfast had too many choices, more than enough to satisfy. The staff – No words to describe how efficient and friendly. We were so ecstatic to have chosen the Oxford Suites; even my teenage son enjoyed himself. Why pay $20 to $30 more, the most excellent part is the price.

Room Tip: Book on hotel's website
