Description: We make everything here fresh, with top quality ingredients, from our salad dressing to our desserts. We prepare true Italian/New York style thin crust pizzas using the finest blend of Italian cheeses available. All of our pizza crusts are spun by hand and can vary in size from 10 – 12”. We make our own Italian sausage, pickle our own artichokes, cut fresh pineapple and use kalamata olives; nothing is left to chance at PizzalChik. We roast whole chickens using our special blend of fresh herbs, roasted garlic and mushrooms. There’s something special that happens to a chicken when cooked in our oven, it’s hard to describe and needs to be experienced.PizzalChik salads are a special blend of spring greens accompanied by an array of seasonal fruits and vegetables created by our chefs to make your salad a one of a kind encounter.

“Hippie Pizza!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 November 2012

Like another reviewer, we searched this place out after seeing it on Drive Ins, Diners and Dives. It is not the easiest place to find, but Boise is not a huge, frantic city, so you just take your time and follow the directions.

Chicken and Pizzas are the speciality. If you want chicken, I would recommend calling ahead. The Pizzas are eclectic. You can go traditional ingredients or throw convention to the wind and try elk meat, wild mushrooms, and Asiago cheese! You can go vegan also.

The building and decor are a feast to look at...straight from the 60's.If I had to guess, the owner was/is a hippie. Nothing matches, there are several seating areas using old metal patio furniture tables and whatever chairs were found at a garage sale. There is a huge photo collage of every rock singer or group back to the 50's. We got drawn into trying to name all of the "rockers". You can buy a smaller version if you want.

Pizza was pricey and when you add wine; it was as much as a dinner although we were there for lunch. Be sure and check what you are being charged.

Please don't be looking for an upscale place. This one is on the dive scale, but friendly, interesting, fresh ingredients, and worth the visit.

“Good Pizza. Fun Place.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 August 2012

We looked for this place because we had seen it on DD&D and we like to go to those places. The pizza we ordered was yummy. The service was good. All of the people working there were attentive and fun. There were some retro video games which my husband loves (anytime he sees a Galaga game, he's playing it). The decor was fun and interesting. It wasn't the cleanest place and there were flies, but it wasn't outrageous. Overall, the pizza was worth it. A little pricey maybe, but not so much so that I wouldn't go back.

“Want to like them......but they lack. See below.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 August 2012

First time ever. Walked in and the place had a fun ambiance. Rock and roll decor. The guys seemed cool. We ordered a bunch of stuff. Pizza, salads, sides, desserts, chicken, and one wanderer. They forgot the chicken. They forgot one of the apps. They skipped a topping that we paid for until we brought it up. The salad was the best. The chicken was the best. Had to ask repeatedly for things that were being overlooked. They seemed sincere about apologizing for their errors. The general concensus is 1 would not return. 1 would. 1 might. There were flys inside the place we had to swat them away from our food. Cost of dinner for 3 was $70+! Like the music. Like the food. Don't like their lack of attentiveness and forgetfulness.

“Over the top sald and pizza”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 April 2012

We visit west Boise several time a month and get "to go" on every visit. The tossed green salad is over the top with an eclectic mix of greens, beets, dressed sprouts etc. My words will never do it justice so just try it for your self! And the pizza wow.
Eat from the heart first and your stomach will follow,
