This is the perfect hotel if you are checking out Boise. They provide a 5 mile shuttle service. They are centrally located to Downtown, BSU, and the Greenway. I strongly recommend this hotel. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Free internet and breakfast. They also have a pool, but there are a lot of children in the pool at all times.

We travel to and through Boise a couple of times a year and always stay at the Residence Inn. The location is great, there is beautiful park right behind the hotel which is where you can catch a shuttle to the river float. The pool is a huge hit with the kids and the fire pit is a lovely place to hang out in the evening. It's an older hotel but the room are very clean, staff is outstanding, and the beds are comfy. It's not right in the city, which is a bonus for us, but is a short drive or long walk to downtown. We always look forward to returning to this fun hotel.

I was here for five nights/six days. The only down fall of this hotel is that the check in process was pretty slow as there was only one person working the front counter every time I looked over there. However, the reason for the slow service is that the associate made sure that the person in front of you received a complete answer to his/her question or concern or worked to immediately address it. For example, my roommate and I were concerned that there was no partnership agreement with any local gym's. The woman behind the counter (Monday, 6/3) said that she would write a note to her manager and ask the general manager about it. The next day, when I got back from training, I had a message from the general manager saying that they now had a partnership with a local gym. This is an example of extremely good customer service.

The shuttle will take you anywhere within 3 miles of the property. They will also pick you up when you call. Which, since you are downtown, that is most places you would want to go anyway.

Our room was similar to a two floor condo. The upper floor had a bedroom and a full bathroom, a large flat screen TV, and a king size bed. The lower floor had a french-door enclosed master suite with a king size bed a large flat screen TV, a desk for doing business, and an ensuite bathroom. The common area had a full kitchen, with a full size fridge, a large microwave, a full oven with flattop burners. Most of what you would need to cook was included right there. Housekeeping was always very good.

The morning breakfast had a good selection of hot items and yogurt. In fact, it was among the nicer continental breakfasts I've had.

On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night they have a complimentary light dinner, as well as beer and wine. I was impressed by the quality of the wine (I was expecting something horrid). It was a good middle of the road wine. The "dinner" on tuesday was more like a heavy snack (think veggies and chips with salsa), but on Wed it was burgers with all the trimmings, and on Thursday it was chicken fajita's with tortilla soup.

The staff were continuously helpful. The pool was the right temperature, as was the spa. The cardio room had three machines, and they were kept up well. The machines had a TV on them (a step up from other hotel gym's where you have to watch a TV on the wall and crank the volume in order to hear it).

I would certainly recommend this property to others.

this hotel is a throwback to the great 60s motor lodges. multiple buildings of 4 rooms each connected via pathways to the main area / reception.

as a residence inn, rooms feature a functional kitchen. the rooms are large and functional.

Wifi and parking are free, as well as breakfast daily. The breakfast buffet was disappointing and only had coffee to go after the first day. Wifi service is below par for a Marriott property.

would return; no problems.

Stayed at the Residence Inn for two nights. We had one reservation and called to extend it, no issues. Room was nice and clean and very comfortable. Room service was good and prompt. The breakfast had many good selections to choose from. Would stay there again. Close to downtown and some good wine tastings.
