The hotel was clean and the owners were very accommodating to us. The room was unique in that the room was had a rustic log bed but extremely comfortable. Although we did not partake in the hot tub it was a great eminity. The owners were very helpful to us in suggesting eating places in town. great place to stay off the beaten path.

Room Tip: Any room would be great and rustic

Cute, rustic Inn with clean rooms. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They have a cute gift shop and the chairs and tables at the front for everyone to enjoy. They also have chairs and tables at the front door if every room which is nice to sit outside and enjoy the air. Bring bug spray if you travel during the summer months. The breakfast isn't really much of a breakfast so don't expect to get a full belly but the casino has decent food.
Overall, it's nice and I would recommend it!

Stayed 6 nights at the Log Inn. Had looked at the the Northside School but was traveling with my teenage son and wanted 2 beds, not just a roll-away. The room was large--we had plenty of room to go through our many bags, beds very comfortable, nice table and chairs outside each room. Best of all were the owners--we were treated like long-lost relatives to them and they felt like that to us. I will miss them! The simple breakfast was a good enough start to the day. which I would "top-off" a bit later.

The rooms in this motel are very nice with rustic log furniture. The place is clean and the hosts are very accommodating. On the negative side the continental breakfast is VERY basic. There is no coffee maker in room, no fridge or microwave. The wifi; when it did work; was very slow.

We stayed in this outstanding Inn and I only gave it one star. . . I meant to give it 5 stars. We love it!! Quiet, clean, friendly, accessible, and the decor is fresh and appealing. Good restaurants within driving distance.

We spent one night (king sized bed) for $75.00 total US funds. Very quiet and charming. Front desk staff were warm and gracious and we would definitely stay here again if in the area. We didn't use the indoor hot tub but it was across a beautiful little bridge that was snow covered and romantic.

This is a quirky little place. If you ever want to get the feel of staying in a log cabin, for the cost of a motel, this is the place for you. There were a couple of minor points that could have made our stay a fraction better, like a kettle/coffee maker in the room (we drink a lot of tea and its nice to be able to put the kettle on when you feel like it - especially if you are a very early riser).
That's a very minor point for a place that represents excellent value for money. The gift shop/reception is a charming place to arrive and sets the ambients for cosy "log cabin" style rooms. It's probably an optical illusion but the king size beds with the log structure seem absolutely huge and gave a great feel of rustic luxury.
The Log Inn sits just off the North Highway 95, but the traffic tends to drop right off as the night goes on, so traffic noise is not an issue.
There is a humble continental breakfast available at the reception in the morning that benefits from a lovely homemade lemon poppy seed cake. Again for what you pay it's very good value and if you feel a little hungry still there are a couple of reasonable eating options very close by, and a nice litter bakery just up the road.
Great value, a nice change of pace from the standard hotel experience, nice people - we recommend it.

Room Tip: We are loaded with luggage, but the gift shop is worth a visit, even if you're not staying at th...
