“Best Time Ever”

Stayed at the hotel with children and grandchildren during part of Spring Break. One of the best times ever. Grandchildren said they were the luckiest kids in the world. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Every staff member beautifully trained to please guests. We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities - the spa, pool, boardwalk, gorgeous view, shopping. We dined at four of the resort owned restaurants - Beverlys, Bonsai, Tito Macaroni, & Dockside. Each was unique and delicious.
Can't wait to return.

Room Tip: Stay in the rooms with the Lake view.

My wife and I spent our 29th wedding anniversary at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. The service and room were wonderful. Our every need was attended to. The view of the lake from our room was breathtaking. Would recommend it to any couple needing a romantic getaway. Made for some good memories.

Room Tip: The view is worth the price.

Stayed here March 2011 and spent 4 wonderful days here. The location is the best on the lake. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurants on sight were very good. My room overlooked the boat harbor. Bed was very comfortable.

Room Tip: Make sure it overlooks the lake.

We booked the hotel at the last minute to get away for a few days. We knew we would be spending more time than usual in the room so wanted a nice room with a view. We booked room with a view of the lake and our deal included breakfast ordered off the menu. The first night we were awakened to noise of a party in next room which went on through to 3:30 am despite 2 calls to security. We checked at the front desk the next morning regarding our complaint and the staff were ready with an upgrade to a very nice view room with a fireplace. We weren't expecting this but were very grateful that our complaint was taken seriously. The breakfast menu was standard fare and a good deal as entrees were in the $10- $15 range. Service was fast and friendly. We would stay at this hotel again but would definitely make sure we had a view room. Parking was the same price whether you self park or use the valet and was a little pricey at $17 . There was no other option for parking anywhere near the hotel so be sure to factor into your budget.

Room Tip: Make sure you have view room!

Thank you for letting us know about your stay. We would like to apologize for the noise you had put up with your first night, but very glad to hear you enjoyed the rest of your stay. We are reviewing our procedures about how to deal with noise from other guests in the future.

I have stayed several times here. Usually with some sort of convention. I always told acquaintances that it was one of the nicer hotels that I have stayed in and especially nice rooms. I do get around some and feel I could say that. That was before this last stay. I booked a room through the Preferred Hotel website which I thought had perks for doing so. Not so. I booked the cheapest room. My mistake. Those rooms are in the old part of the hotel which I did not know even existed. You take this old rickety elevator to get there. Motel 6 quality rooms. Uncomfortable mattresses, smelly musty odor, very noisy. You could here everything from other rooms. For the price of the room plus pay for parking you can do much better in CDA. The bright spot is the pool. The two younger fellows at the pool were helpful and friendly.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. I'm sorry we did not live up to the previous stays you have had. I have shared your comments with some of the other managers about the noise and musty odors. Our premier and deluxe rooms would probably suit you better next time.

We just stayed at Coeur d' Alene Resort for the third or fourth time. We have stayed in a couple of true five star rated hotels (last one was "The Conrad" in indinanapolis) and the Coeur d' Alene is so much better, much nicer, the bathrooms are bigger, the beds are more comfortable, the spa is more expansive...everything about it makes this resort our favorite of any place in the United States.

I noticed a few reviews complaning about the service of the staff....and that amazes me...we are pretty discerning travelers, and we have had nothing but outstanding service, from vallet to front desk to room service and on every single visit we are made to feel like family...I think some people just like to find things to complain about

We have stayed at the Resort several times over the years. The service is always very good and the setting is lovely.
This stay we were upgraded to a lake view room in the new tower with a king bed, separate sitting area with fireplace, small balcony and wall of windows overlooking the lake. The bath area had a separate tub and shower, 2 sinks, nice closet and drawers for clothes, flat-screen tv on a swivel to watch from bed or chaise, lights on dimmers - every detail had been addressed.
Having stayed at less impressive rooms in the resort in the past, it was a pleasant surprise to be upgraded and I don't think I'd stay in a "lesser" room again!
