Description: The "315" is located within the 1908 Historic Greenbriar Inn in downtown Coeur d'Alene, only four blocks from the Lake. We feature a martini bar, wine bar, international food with "small plate" or tapas available during all restaurant hours, as well as a full dinner menu. Outdoor seating and patio/garden seating available. Two fireplaces inside. Catering also available.

If you haven't been to the Greenbriar for Sunday Brunch, you have missed going back in time to "Grandma's House." As you enter the front door of the GB, you immediately become very hungry smelling biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs and all the other colorful and healthy dishes like you used to eat as a kid at Grandma's house. In the evening (I have been on both occasions), it's just a place you feel at home. You can either have a full dinner, just an appetizer or a great salad with protein on the side. A great huckleberry salad dressing is my favorite. You can choose between different atmospheres....sit in a cozy room with a fireplace and dine or lounge, enjoy the small but friendly well-stocked bar, the large dining room by the fireplace, sit on the wrap-around porch or down in the yard/patio area and listen to the great Tuesday jazz music or whatever group is playing on the day you go. You just have to go see for yourself. You will want to return because it's a great experience.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time with another couple and were so disappointed with the very slow, inattentive service. We were there for nearly 3 hours (by our choice, as we visited with the other couple) and were only given the chance to order two drinks in that time and routinely had our water glasses empty. The four of us ate our entire meal without having anything to drink...empty water glasses & wine/cocktail glasses. The Filet was under-cooked, but the rest of our food was fine. Instead of asking if we wanted to order dessert, the waiter returned with our bill. We asked to order one more martini and he never came back, so we left. The restaurant was not busy, but we only saw the one waiter in charge of about 8 tables. Very disappointing, especially for the prices. We won't be back.

We are just passing thru, and this place had great reviews, so we thought we'd give it a try. First, they served cucumber water without asking, and we did not like it. The bruschetta was good, but the fromage plate had cheddar and jalapeño (which I don't like) - hardly 'European,' in any case. We tried two other dishes, both of which were far more appetizing in the description. The servers were fine, but felt understaffed.

Thankyou for reviewing our property. As a result of your comments, we are adding a European Cheese platter with our Fall menu. Many people like the one we presently have, so this way our patrons can have an option.

The restaurant is situated in a lovely restored home. 315 has some good tapas and mixed drinks. But beware, the service is horrible!

The staff is rude, slow, and snobby. At one point we were told by the waitress that she would have to explain to the bartender that we had ordered a drink mid-meal. Her demeanor suggested that we were inconveniencing everyone by ordering a second drink. At the end of the meal the six of us discussed leaving no tip (which I have never considered before) and after waiting a LONG time, we finally sought out any staff member so we could pay and leave.

I was sad to see your posting here on Tripadvisor. I wish I had known about your disappointing service experience so I could have dealt with it immediately. A great number
of our guests report a very positive experience, so it is our desire to eliminate any staffing issues of this nature, as soon as possible. Thankyou for your input. We are following up
at this end.
