If you haven't been to the Greenbriar for Sunday Brunch, you have missed going back in time to "Grandma's House." As you enter the front door of the GB, you immediately become very hungry smelling biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs and all the other colorful and healthy dishes like you used to eat as a kid at Grandma's house. In the evening (I have been on both occasions), it's just a place you feel at home. You can either have a full dinner, just an appetizer or a great salad with protein on the side. A great huckleberry salad dressing is my favorite. You can choose between different atmospheres....sit in a cozy room with a fireplace and dine or lounge, enjoy the small but friendly well-stocked bar, the large dining room by the fireplace, sit on the wrap-around porch or down in the yard/patio area and listen to the great Tuesday jazz music or whatever group is playing on the day you go. You just have to go see for yourself. You will want to return because it's a great experience.
