Stayed two days while fishing the local rivers. The rooms are clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Owners were very nice and helpful. Easy walk to great restaurants and to fishing shop/guides. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: nice rooms

There we four of us on a quilting "Shop-Hop". We chose this place because it was in the middle of the loop. The rooms were clean & fresh. The Inn is run by a couple who were very friendly & attentive to our needs. Everything was within walking distance. Enjoyed the 2 room "apartment" we got. We would VERY MUCH stay here again next year, and each year after!!

The Pines is a converted old two story house, owned and run by a very friendly couple. Most of the furnishings in the room were bona fide antiques, but the bed was very modern and comfortable. The walls are somewhat thin, there is some road noise, but we had no problem sleeping well, especially after winding down in their large outdoor chemical free jacuzzi. The place was clean as a whistle, there is a refrigerator and microwave in the room, but no coffee maker. Noticed this on Trip Advisor, so we brought our own.

This is on our "do stay" list for any future dates.

Room Tip: Rooms at the very front of building will have some road noise.

You won't get fancy extras, though there is a jacuzzi, but you will get a nice room, decent bed, television and you can walk to everything as it is in the center of town. The owners are very helpful, and the price is reasonable.

We checked in around 1 pm. My husband was to go to a job site. I was staying in the room. About 20 minutes after he dropped me off, I was sitting on the bed and the door opened. It was the owner. She thought we were both gone. She said she was going to turn off the lights. Ya right! My husband came back and told her she could NOT do that again. She said she would, it was her house. We packed up and left. Do not stay here. You don't know who's going through your stuff!

Stayed here for two nights when visiting the Tetons area. The motel is in essence an extension of the owner's house who lives on site. The grounds are well kept, and the exterior has a lot of character with its shingles and deer antlers/bull skulls.

We stayed in a downstairs room with two double beds which was very small and had next to zero room for storage. This required some juggling of the the dog crate, extra air mattress, and folding table to make things work. Amenities included refrigerator, microwave, free WIFI, cable TV, and a fan, but no AC. Upstairs rooms were bigger it seems and did have air conditioning. The room was quite hot in the evening but manageable. The room itself was quite well-worn and reminded me of a 1970-style ski lodge, with bed posts fashioned from pine logs and the bathroom being pine-paneled.

Everything you might want while you stay is in walking distance, and the backyard was quite large, which was great for taking the dog to the bathroom. A sandbox and a tree swing were on site. Some seating was right out front which I used one night. The owners were very friendly and suggested we use their gas grill out back one night.

Overall for the price it is easy to overlook that the rooms are kind of old. We ended up paying something like $70 a night, which is about half of what we would have paid elsewhere. Would stop by again, but probably get a larger room with AC next time.

The Pines looks like a house whose owner couldn't stop adding to. It's old but well maintained and even has a beautiful hot tub! The rooms are large with small refrigerator and microwave. There are large, green grounds, a picnic and BBQ area, even a tree house. It's right downtown with everything in walking distance. It's a bargain you don't want to miss if you're in the area.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the back for a truly quiet night's sleep.
