“Great Lake Views and Good Food”
Reviewed 20 August 2012

We headed to Arrowhead Resort with the family boat in hopes of eating at Eddie's. It sounded like a great outing by the lake. We were nicely greeted by a Gozzer Ranch employee who helped us dock on the courtesy dock. He told us that next time, we were also welcome to park it in a slip if we wanted to.
Our family had a great experience at Eddie's. Even with a toddler in tow, it seemed that the hostess and waitress were very accommodating and friendly with us. We all enjoyed our lunch. Yummy stack of onion rings! Burgers were good and the gazpacho soup was especially good! We sat outside on the patio and watched children play in the beach and could see a great view of the lake.
They serve lunch until 4 pm so that was helpful since we got there close to 2 pm. Good service and overall good food. We'd go back.

“Try to make it there for Taco Tuesday!”
Reviewed 20 August 2012

I have to begin this by stating that I HATE buffets, but this was one of the few that I would go back to in a heart beat! We enjoyed "taco tuesday" and sat outside... and enjoyed every minute of it! THe food was delicious, and the waitresses were very friendly. I highly suggest ending your meal with the "huckleberry ice cream". It is delicious!

“Not our kind of place”
Reviewed 17 August 2012

Or maybe it's that we aren't their kind of client. We used to enjoy the spot when it was a okay, a dive on the beach. But now with the nearby Gozzer Ranch [development] wrapping it into it's amenities it makes it hard to enjoy it. One, all the adjacent parking spots are labeled as being for Gozzer Ranch guests. So unless you are staying at the adjacent Arrowhead Resort, you are hard put to find a parking place. Four of us just wanted to sit on the patio, enjoy the view and have a nice meal. We were told it was an hour wait, yet there were plenty of empty tables. There was no where comfortable to wait except standing on the sidewalk. We finally gave up, when the waitress wouldn't even acknowledge or request to at least be able to sit at one of the tables - we were willing to wait for service.

“A FACTORY”
Reviewed 10 July 2012

For those of you looking for a restaurant on the water while in Coeur d Alene, avoid Eddie's at all costs! Although it is a great location with a beautiful setting that is easy to get to by boat, the place rests on that as its sole purpose for existing at all. The outdoor bar, beach, and tables have the charm of a college spring break wet t-shirt contest, dirty plates everywhere and little to no service. The inside pub has a little atmosphere, but the food is very expensive, with more of a "real restaurant" menu with high prices, but without the quality of food. Mostly, however, the service is non-existent or, if you are lucky, indifferent. It is not kid friendly either. It is a very poorly run rip-off that you should avoid at all costs unless you simply want to stop to enjoy the view.
