We can't speak highly enough of Corskie House. It is furnished in period art and furniture, is immaculate, overlooks the Lake, has a lovely, welll-cared for yard, shed for bikes, and the breakfast is amazing. All this is provided by Russ, the owner, who is a first class host. We would look forward to coming again!

Room Tip: All are very nice

Formerly known as the Wild Boar Inn, the Corskie House is one of the best B&B's that we've ever stayed at. Russ owns and operates the 4 guest room home. Each cozy guest room is on the second floor and two have views of Lake Coeur d'Alene. Each room has a private bath and satellite tv.

The decor is sportsman themed and much of his artwork was done by family members. Russ has lived in the area for years and has a lot of helpful information on local restaurants and activities.

The back yard is across the bike trail and up the hill from the shore line. There is an access path down the hill. The yard is well maintained and an excellent spot to watch the sunset and the nesting osprey.

Russ makes a great breakfast! We had bacon, eggs, hash browns, toast with homemade jelly, and fresh fruit.

During the summer, Russ' grandson (an Eagle Scout!) also helps around the place to keep the property looking great.

Russ was very accommodating during our visit and we recommend this place to anyone staying in Harrison. It's a great stopping point while biking the Coeur d'Alene trail. If you didn't bring a bike, Pedal Pushers is across the street and rents some very nice bicycles.

Room Tip: The west rooms overlook Lake Coeur d'Alene.

We stayed for two nights in the Wild Boar Inn as part of a bicycle tour on the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes. It was perfect! Russ Wilbur, our host, has restored the house beautifully and is appropriately changing the name to "The Corski House" after the original owners. There are four well appointed bedrooms on the second floor; most of the first floor is common space including a large lounge area, a dining room, and a billiards room. The setting is magnificent with fine views over L. Coeur d'Alene. While there we watched a pair of ospreys nesting on a pole just off shore and feeding two chicks. Russ was the perfect host: friendly, informative, full of historic pride about Harrison and the area as a silver valley local, helpful. And a good cook - excellent cooked breakfasts with ample juices, fresh fruit, eggs, and waffles. We are recommending the Corski House to others and are already planning to come back.

Room Tip: We stayed in room #4 (Bergundy Room) to get the cast iron bath tub. All rooms looked comfortable.
