Perfect location close to Vaporetto dock and lido beach. Really quiet road, nice rooms, good breakfast included. WiFi is free, works great in lobby not so good in rooms. Really clean rooms, well decorated, small showers only downside. Nice views from roof terrace. Lido is a great place to stay to combine the beach with Venice. We will definitely go back

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and enjoyed it thoroughly. Located about 300m from the Vaporetto stop taking you to Venice, it's located in a quiet street making for a peaceful stay. We stayed in a superior double room (room 26) and, while it was a touch small, it had a lovely private balcony and was nicely appointed. In hindsight i would probably ask to stay in a superior double with a sofa rather than with a balcony to give us more room.

Breakfast was great and was included in the price and consisted of cold meats, croissants and cakes, cereal, fruit, juice and tea and coffee.

Definitely would stay here again on our next trip to Venice....

Room Tip: The rooms are pretty small so ask for a superior double with a sofa for a little more room.

Padded walls, stylish decoration, great breakfast and the rooftop terrace is a great place to chill with friends or alone. The view is amazing and if ypu need somwthing, there are restaurants and convenience stores one block away in any direction

We already stayed several times in this hotel, and keep on going back.
Nice rooms, furnished in the typical Venetian way. The staff is helpful and friendly and they serve a good breakfast.
Although not located on the main island, but on Lido. There is no problem whatsoever to get to the main attractions, as there is a vaporetto stop at only 300m from the hotel with frequent and fast connections to the main islands.

We chose this beautiful hotel to escape from the masses of people in Venice every night of the 4 days that we spend in Venice and was not dissapointed at all. The staff were so professional and helpful and the room was small but had a balcony overlooking a lovely garden. The breakfast was very good and had a lovely selction of cake as well for breakfast which was delightful as we never eat cake for breakfast in South Africa. The hotel had a lovely deck right at the top with stunning views of Venice and surrounding areas. The one evening we decided to buy some food at a deli and had a picnic in the garden. The person on duty lit the lamps on the table and even brought us coffee later on. Every request was dealt with properly end efficiently by the staff. The hotel have bicycles which one can rent and we did just that cycled the whole of Lido island which was so lovely.I would recommend the hotel any day to anybody who wants to relax after a day of hectic sightseeing and masses of people as the hotel is also in a very quiet neighbourhood but in walking distance to the ferries, bars, restaurants and shops.

I was for many years a returning guest at this beautiful little hotel - when it still was a rather simple pension. After refurbishing price but also room standard has changed, but it is still avery personal family hotel in a former Villa in Liberty Style (Art Nouveau), with nice rooms and beautiful details. Small garden, unusual tower overviewing the city of Venice (and of course the rest of Lido). My recent stay in 2013 was very pleasant, the breakfast was satisfactory and better than average, the room clean and wifi worked. As I do not spend much time in the room, the lack of tea cooking and such did not disturb me the least.

Room Tip: ask for a room with a balcony.

Hotel Delle Palme is a beautiful, well-kept old home converted some years ago into a small hotel. It is an easy walk (with luggage) from the Lido's vaporetto stop and is located on a delightful quiet street lined with gorgeous private homes, lush landscaping and classic small hotels. Our room had a private balcony overlooking well cared-for gardens. It was clean and comfortable--- and fairly sizable compared to most european hotels. The hotel's architecture is fascinating, including a very high roof-top patio and cupola which overlooks the Lido. Excellent service, including a free bottle of prosecco provided upon arrival. Breakfast was sumptuous and delicious. The Lido this time of year seamed practically tourist-free----walking everywhere was peaceful, lovely and a refreshing change from Venice crowds. The Lido has the atmosphere of a quiet, semi tropical resort. Beautiful classic homes everywhere give it a very upscale ambience. Walking along the waterfront promenade or sipping Spritzes at a waterfront cafe while watching Venice across the boat-filled lagoon was most pleasant. Lots of nice restaurants available in easy walking distance.
Definitely consider the Lido and Hotel Villa Delle Palme for a couple days for any Venice Vacation.
