Dear Shelley and Philip
Thankyou so much for our wonderful stay at little Cocoa. We can’t start to say how much we enjoyed everything. As you know we hired a small car and have pretty well driven around the island exploring every nook and cranny although there are still lots more to see which will have to wait till another visit (hopefully next year). Little Cocoa was everything we wanted and more, so quite, clean, tidy and the cottage was just wonderful in every aspect, we really couldn’t have asked for more (thankyou for the lovely rocket, never tasted any so good). We are off to St Lucia later today were there in 87 so it will be interesting to see how it has changed..
Thankyou again

As others have said , this place is gorgeous. We really wished we could have stayed longer. Shelly and Phillip have created a beautiful spot here. The place is quiet and private, but (if you rent a vehicle) there is a gorgeous beach nearby, as well as bar/restaurant at a nearby harbor/yacht club. There is also a small grocery store not too far away , but we'd recommend that you stock up with groceries from the bigger stores in St. Georges. Kitchen is well-stocked and all appliances work well. Perfect for a couple. Highly recommended !

I have visited many Caribbean Islands but Grenada was the most Beautiful, Lush Nature & absolutely Clean . The Grenadian's are the most charming People that just want to help a lost tourist whenever possible.
Little Cocoa is a fantastic vacation home, a cottage brought back to life and extended with modern facilities and a great, large, private Deck! It is very private and situated at about 1000 feet up on the hill side with sweeping views means also the temperature is nice and cool, no AC required.
Though Little Cocoa is on an active farm and we were there in summer when you often get Sun Showers there were no mosquito or insects.
From the terrace you can at any time watch humming birds dart through the gardens and around the farm. As well as many other bird wild life.
The cottage is fully equipped with all you could need, and what you do miss will happily be provided by the charming landlords and farmers, Shelly & Phillip whom live near by.
A MUST is to arrange a Country / Mountain hike with Dusty whom works side by side with Phillip on the farm. He grew up in the area and can take you on a customized hike to give you a real insight to the beauty and nature of Grenada.
We hope to return as soon as we can, if you are looking for a great Vacation Home look no further... Oh, I should mention the ride to the nearest beach is less than 10 min... and super market 20. It's easy life at charming Little Cocoa ~ Relax!

My husband and I stayed here for the first part of our vacation in Grenada and wished we did not have to leave. We loved the cottage and found Shelley and Philip to be wonderful hosts! From arranging a rental car, a tour guide to show us the island, and tips on where to go & what to eat, we had no worries and couldn't have asked for more! We loved sitting on the outside terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has everything you would need during your stay. My favorite beach on the island, LaSagesse is only 10 minutes away. We had a wonderful vacation and found everyone so friendly that we can't wait to return! Thanks Shelley and Philip!
WOW, this is a stunning place to stay. So tastefully converted building in the middle of a cocoa plantation. You could live here for life and be very happy. The kitchen/living room has everything you could want and so clean and tidy. A true delight. Free wifi too. Onto the outside terrace with hammock and dining table where distance views of the Atlantic sea can be viewed whilst watching hummingbirds and lizards, listening to the tiny tree frogs. Into the bedroom and en suite bathroom, again, both done with with great flare in design. If you want someone to design a conversion in Grenada, ask Shelley. Such a wonderful lady. Listen out for the donkey, everytime we were in hysterics. - It takes 1 hour 30 minutes to walk from the sea back to Little Cocoa, but be warned, its all uphill. We loved this place and would recommend it to all. Its about 30 minute drive across the island to Grand Anse or the airport, but the west has the best beaches. The east are good, but the sea much rougher. Thanks for a great place Shelley and Philip.

If you want to hide this is the place for you. No one will bother you here. We hired a car for our 6 day stay, its long walk to the highway for bus: uphill going home, so allow US$ 55 a day for this.
Shelley and Philip are lovely and only 50 metres away with the donkey, sheep, goats, chickens, and 3 hounds. The tortoises, humming birds and other wildlife surround you, just sit on your raised patio and become at one with them. Keep a brush in the bedroom to sweep away bat calling cards when getting your morning cuppa.
For those like us who like to cook, you'll find the kitchen well equiped for you.
A 5 min drive down the hill and your on a quiet, gently sloping, sandy beach: la sargresse. On our way back from the beach on our last day we stopped to drop of some school kids we'd given a lift to and ran into a local selling fresh lobsters - we bought 4 for EC25 (£6). They go well with rum punch.
If you want tourism and razmatazz don't look at this place. If you want true Grenada go for it. Thanks Shelley.

this cottage has a wonderful covered deck where we were able to lounge around in the hammock or at the table during a few rainy days. The bedroom and bathroom are comfortable and beautifully furnished and the kitchen has everything someone who loves to cook might need. The owners were most welcoming, relaxed , and helpful when we asked. Otherwise we had as much privacy as we wanted. Cocoa and banana trees all around our "tree house" and the sound of the crickets at night. With a car ( definitely recommended if you stay here), one of the nicest swimming beaches - as well as beach restaurant and bar. - is ten minutes away. Can explore island from here. A magical find.
