“Great hotel.....but read this to know what you are getting.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2014

We don't live to far from here and seeing what great reviews were on this hotel we decided to stay for an anniversary.

I will start with the CONS first since there are not very many of them.

1. Do not go here if your kids like to swim. The pool is on the smaller side, 20 feet long it seemed. (Hotel Staff please correct me if I am wrong) I forgot to get a picture of it. It is not for small kids who can't swim either. It drops from 3 to 4 feet pretty quick.

2. The Hot Tub would be crowded with 6 people. It was the most questionable part of the stay. The caulk around the tub could use some bleach and a few of the pieces were broken. Jets in the tub were not very strong. Don't get me wrong, it was relaxing, but there were only two of us and we could move around. If you got more than a few it would be tight.

3. Breakfast food taste was okay. HUGE selection and we got full, but average taste.

That’s it....now on to the AMAZING things about this hotel.

1. Fantastic Staff, every bit of the way. Even when we forgot a comb, they were quick to help.
2. Room was very clean and comfortable. We got the "cave" shower with no tub. LOVED the shower head. Didn't pelt you to death when you switched settings.
3. Bed was not to hard, or to soft. Simmons Beauty rest, "World Class" with pillow top. This is generally is our biggest complaint...we rested very nicely. We bring our own pillows, but the Hotel's seemed very comfy as well.
4. Matters pad and comforter were clean and nice to sleep with. It didn't trap heat under you.
5. Room AC and Heater worked very well. Fast in both directions.
6. RV Parking for RV's and Tailors. Nice area if you have a motor home or RV. No worry about parking it there.
7. Dave's Killer bread was in our breakfast menu. Amazing bread, loved it.
8. Evening Dinners of soup and salad are fantastic. Especially if you are traveling and just want to get settled in for the night. If you want a yummy cookie should be there by 8:30 pm.
9. 24 HOUR Pool for Adults
10. 24 HOUR Hot Chocolate

Room Tip: Even numbers face the West. So if you like to sleep in pick these. Blackout curtains work very well.

Dear Brian H,

Thanks for sharing your experience here on TripAdvisor. Please be advised that our hotel is constantly in a state of upgrade and improvement. As we have grown, we've replaced/upgraded/maintained amenities throughout the property. So many people visit the hotel these days that we have decided (in agreement with your evaluation) that the pool and hot tub need to be bigger. Plans are in place to "biggify" them soon. In the mean time, we do the absolute best we can with what we've got. The pool and hot tub are meticulously kept clean...and they are open to guests 24/7 so that everyone can have a chance to soak in spite of the very few times when they get so busy that space is an issue. We hope that, by the next time you come, the facility will be bigger and better.

That being said...thank you so much for commenting on all the positive aspects of our hotel that you took note of while you were here. We take great pride in our award-winning staff, gorgeous rooms/furniture, comfy beds, and yummy food offerings. You mentioned our Killer Good-Seed bread...that is one of my personal FAVORITES! We go to great lengths to provide top-quality items and amenities to our guests while keeping room rates reasonable and competitive.

Please come back to visit us again.

I confess that I did not have high expectations of a Sleep Inn, but used it with points from a credit card deal. I was surprised by a good welcome, spacious hotel room with two queens etc in a very nicely furnished room with a newish feel to it. We arrive late after eating dinner but they had two types of soup, salad for free up until 9 pm. The breakfast was good and lots of hot varieties. Highly recommended hotel in Idaho Falls.

We pulled off the highway around 8 pm and didn't see any place to eat but since we were tired we decided to stay. We were so surprised to find they had complementary soup and salad until 9. Very good soup, great salad, garlic bread along with fresh cookies. There were 3 in our group and only one cookies so I inquired at the desk and they said the would bring more in 5 minutes and even asked what kind we wanted! Breakfast was just as good with plenty of seating. And the room was wonderful! We even took pictures to show our friends. We have added Sleep Inn to our list of best places to stay!

This Sleep Inn is an excellent hotel. The king size room was very well presented and exceptionally clean. Bed very comfy. Offered soup and garlic bread in the evenng and an excellent breakfast, with a large selection of fresh fruit and many hot items. Will definitely stay here again.

One exit south of the road into town and the bulk of hotels but this is the best place to stay! Arrived about 8pm and they were serving 3 homemade soups (cream of potato, vegetable beef and minestrone), mixed field green salad and warm crusty bread and cookies until 9pm! They do this every night! Breakfast was also outstanding, hot and cold cereal options, waffles, omelets and sausage along with fresh fruit, juice and pastry. As we were leaving we noticed a pavilion with picnic tables and gas grills for the guests! Aside from all the food features, they have an awesome workout room, guest laundry and the cleanest most comfortable king room in the area at an impressive rate of $76. This will be our regular stop from now on!

Room Tip: Every room is a good room.

Very nice hotel...truly a step above the normal mid-budget motels. Our room was very clean with all the amenities you'd expect. The breakfast was great, with lots of protein choices. AND...this was a first for us; soups and salad at dinner time. This was something very nice and possibly they might set a standard for others to follow. We would definitely recommend Sleep Inn to our fellow travelers...we truly enjoyed our stay and the staff offered us lots of smiles. Perfect!

We spent one night here on our way back from Yellowstone and everything was outstanding. The hotel is located out by itself from the downtown area, but sometimes that can be a good thing. Room was large, clean, and had all the amenities. We used the laundry facilities on site which made life easier for us. The continental breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I have to mention the evening soup and salad buffet: after being on the road all day, we were not really up to heading out and finding a restaurant. We simply loaded up on the soup and salad which was tasty and excellent. Great hotel – highly recommend it!
