If your goal is to see Yellowstone and spend time relaxing then this Campground is just the place for you. It's easy to find and only 13 miles away from the Yellowstone Entrance. It's very family friendly but is more of a "Retired" type atmosphere. My wife and I stayed here for about a week. We use to bring our kids to Yellowstone when they were younger. It's nice to get back but the prices in West Yellowstone are too high for our taste. Valley View is half the price and only a few more miles away, which is also a bonus since West is more of a small city now. The owner says this Campground is his retirement project. He is very friendly and is here working everyday, all day long, making the campground a little better every day. The campground staff are all retired as well and all very friendly and very helpful. It has 50amp service, large pull through sites with plenty of room to park another car or to pitch a tent, large clean bath/shower house and large laundromat. Pets are allowed and they were fine with us leaving our dog outside to lay in the grass while we cooked inside our RV. If you have time to fish, I recommend heading across the street to Henry's Lake. The fishing is amazing and the trout are monsters! It's been a long time since I've caught trout this large before.
