First I would like to say the waitress was amazing. Very nice, friendly, and had a smile on her face the whole time. We went for an early dinner on a Sat. night due to the recommendations from other TripAdvisor users (has a 100% recommendation rate). Well, although the food was alright, it was not cooked at the Depot. All the meat used for our sandwiches (my husband's cheesesteak and my Cuban) was cooked elsewhere and not that day for sure. The telltale sign was the fact that I heard no grilling going on, just the opening and closing of a microwave (which when you are paying for a hot meal, is not the sound you want to hear). I could have heated up my own leftovers at home and made them into a sandwich. I think they probably use a Panini press for the toasting/warming of the bread. If I had known that there was no actual grill in the back, I probably wouldn't have come.
So, to sum it up, friendly wonderful service, tasty leftovers re-warmed in microwave.

Phenomenal smoked tri tip. Both the sandwich and the burrito are made with smoked tritip. Nice local beer on tap. Perfect place to watch sports too with 2 flat screams. Mountain cafe meets pub.

We were looking for dinner on a Monday night - lots of places are closed! We opted for outdoor seating, a little warm at first (6:30pm, had been an 88 degree day), but soon was very pleasant. Outdoor tables with umbrella for shade on a cement patio, with a fenced grassy yard. Also a deck with 2-3 tables. We had the quesadilla appetizer, grinder sandwich, SW chicken salad, and tri-tip cheesesteak sandwich. All salads and sandwiches were excellent. Sandwiches come in a smaller portion to pair with a salad. Salads are mixed greens (not iceberg) with other vegies and good dressing. Local beers on tap were great! Seems that young adult locals come here, talked with some people who look to be recent college grads who live and work in Kellogg. Inside are big screen TVs for sports

Great Place to grab a sandwich and a beer. A park right across the street. A very nice deck for outside eating. Good limited menu, with several good tap beers.
