“A beautiful area”

Idaho has it all. Wilderness areas with lakes, mountains, and rivers. The Sawtooth Wilderness is vast and wild. Animals are everywhere.Go sooner than later.

“Low key, pretty, close to town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2014 via mobile

We were pleased with campsite, it was quiet and scenic. There was even a creek behind us that we waded in and could hear rushing by as we fell asleep. Great night!
Pit toilet and bathroom kinda sucks but hey it's camping.

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2014

We hiked into Hell Roaring Lake and it was awesome. We also took the boat ride on Redfish Lake and hiked to the Lily Pond and the Waterfall. Both were outstanding! We even rented paddle boards on Redfish Lake.

“A Piece of Heaven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2014

I just spent 5 days camping at Little Redfish Lake, our favorite location to do so in the Sawtooths. The view is spectacular, campground small and easy to just slide the kayak into the lake for instant bliss bobbing on the water. We enjoyed hiking outside of Stanley, near the Stanley Lake area and the view of meadows and snow peaked mountains is a good as it gets. Redfish Lake, which is more developed is nearby for a quick errand at the store, but we love this quiet retreat away from the crowds (Idaho crowds).

This is a small slice of heaven no matter if it is a quick over nighter or for a week. You will sleep soundly and wake to birds chirping while brewing the morning coffee.

“One of the best places in America”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 June 2014

I have been going to the area since the late 70's way before all the people found out about it. It is a place that one must see, it is rough and tough, the mountains are spiracular and Red Fish Lake is just breath taking, as of course the mountains.
