We were fortunate to snag the last available room here over Labor Day weekend. It was well worth it. The innkeepers, Ruth & Jim, are very personable; the rooms are comfortable and well-kept; the breakfast was excellent (that morning it was blackberry pancakes, lots of fresh fruit, etc.); and the location is quiet and restful. We didn't try out the hot tub, but we did enjoy reading in the beautiful outdoor sitting area. This was the best stay on our vacation!
One tip: If you elect to turn off the A/C in the room and open the windows for fresh air, I suggest waiting until you're about ready to turn out the light. That way you won't attract the tiny gnats that can fit through the screen. (Nothing the owners can do about that--it's just part of staying in the country.)
