We have stayed several times at the Home Hotel. The rooms are always clean and warm. The bathrooms are always clean and we use and keep our Organic toiletries. The coffee is not only Free but very good. Location, location, location, the Home Hotel is in an ideal spot. The staff are pleasant and attentive. On our last room reservation, we mentioned that our Courtside Economy room bed was not as comfortable as our Courtside Specialty Room bed experiences. Our Economy room bed was replaced prior to our arrival. Imagine that! The replaced bed was extremely comfortable. Four years ago, our first stay was in a newly remodeled Courtside Specialty Room and we were impressed with the comfortable bed. We are already planning another weekend visit.

Room Tip: Rooms on the upper level and away from the stairs are quieter. The Courtside Specialty Rooms and re...

This was our first stay at the Home Hotel. It's definitely the nicest hotel in town with modern upgrades. The tub is HUGE! The rooms are a little small, but it is an older hotel so it's to be expected. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located perfectly in town so that you can walk everywhere! The rooms have a mini fridge and there is a microwave in the lobby area of the hotel. Our only teeny, tiny complaint would be that there are no blackout curtains like there are at other hotels. There's a shade over the windows, but don't expect to sleep in. The sun creeps through. Other than that, perfect stay!!!

Lava Hot Springs is a quaint town, and the Home Hotel is a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious and the oversized tubs (built for two plus) are a huge draw as the water that fills the tubs comes from the hot mineral water and is very soothing! This is a great place to relax. Everything is within walking distance - places to dine, places to hang-out, the outdoor mineral baths. The Home Hotel also has a private outdoor mineral bath for guests only. Sherri and Misti were the two ladies we dealt with at the front desk and both were very personable and very helpful. We highly recommend this place and have friends planning to stay there next weekend after our stay. We will be staying there again (and are planning another trip come this fall).

Room Tip: Each room in the Hotel is themed after a famous artist. We stayed in the Mary Cassatt room. Review t...

The room was clean and warm. Bathroom clean and will appointed. Nice room tastefully decorated. Greeting was warm and professional. Easy walk to anywhere in town. Please with stay and surroundings. Free coffee in the lobby was a bonus. Would stay there again.

Loved the big tub and the hospitality. Would stop there again:) The rooms were comfortable and close to the springs. Parking was safe and since we had motorcycles and bicycles on the trailer, all good.

Room Tip: Take a remodeled one if you need but the rooms were very nice.

This was my second stay at the Home Hotel, and as lovely as the first. My husband and I had the Kadinsky room, and while it is a bit smaller than your standard hotel room, it was the perfect size for us, and the bathroom more than made up for it. The staff are all very nice and helpful, really go out of their way for you. The room was comfy and clean, tub was AMAZING! Romance package very nice. Really great location- Lava is a small town yes, but the hotel is so close to the "hot pots" and within easy walking distance of everything else. This is perfect for a little get away.
