This is a great place for excellent value. Perfect price for drinks and food with lots of local action.

I gave the Blue Moon an average rating because it used to be a fun place to go. I went in with a few girlfriends this past weekend to sit, visit, listen to the band and perhaps do some dancing. Usually it's a fun and relaxing place to go. Well, we ended up fighting off some seriously skanky young men for a good hour and a half. Apparently, they had a bet to see if they could make out with the "old b*tches." We took it in stride at first, it was kind of funny, until it got to be nearly an assault. We told them ENOUGH and they would back off for awhile, but then would be back. We were worried about getting up to go to the restroom alone in case they noticed. Totally ruined our evening. We were sitting near the bar, and our waitress observed this, and clearly thought it was hilarious, even after hearing us tell them to leave us alone in LOUD voices. Perhaps I shouldn't blame this on the bar itself, but it's a shame that "old b*tches" can't go to what used to be a fun place to have a few drinks and listen to the band without being harassed by the local scumbags to the amusement of the staff. Needless to say, we left early. Not sure if we'll be back or not.

liked that the bathroom was ok and the old feel, music was kinda crappy, not clean around the bar, or how the bartenders would smoke while doing your drink and handled the lemons and put them in my hand from theirs...hand to hand gross.

With an open mike night on Thursdays and live music on Fridays and Saturdays the Blue Moon is a great place to stop for a beverege and some sweet potato fries! I once had a bartender go through all the bar change trying to find a Texas state quarter to complete my set (and yes, she did find one). I would definitely give the Blue Moon five stars if it was a non-smoking bar.

Cheap drinks, local characters, and good cheap bar food! Live music on Fridays, good jukebox, and lots of room. Usual darts, gambling machines, etc. Come as you are and have fun!
