“Amazing food!! Excellent atmosphere!!”

Had an amazing dinner. The warm beet salad was delicious and I don't even like beets. The Cioppino was absolutely divine. Seriously, a place you don't want to miss. Beautiful atmosphere, reasonably priced wine, delicious food. What more could you ask for?

“Wonderful lunch!”
Reviewed 9 March 2014

First time eating at this restaurant and it was a great experience. Loved the coconut curry soup, in addition to my tuna Nicoise style sandwich selection. My son had a french dip sandwich, to which he is very partial to, and he rated it as one of the best he's ever eaten. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was soothing and enjoyable. We will be going there again soon.

We're always looking for good new places to eat and stay on our travels. Caesar salad was creatively different and very good. The two types of steak we had were done perfectly and presented well with quarter-cut potatoes and asparagus. Wine list was good, coffee very good. Prices were slightly up scale, but worth it. This might have been the best meal we've had in Lewiston in a while. It made an enjoyable evening out.

“Not a Happy Birthday”
Reviewed 27 February 2014

So sorry we went here, but my sister gave us a large gift certificate. This is totally a 'wanne-be' restaurant. Sauces disguise everything; halibut tastes like Mexican salsa, roast duck is drenched in unidentifiable sauces. Though the sauces were good, I'd like to taste the roast duck and halibut. Should call it 'Sauces that look like food'. No salt or pepper on tables, and even have to ask for ground pepper for the salads. The wait for food is too long, and no offerings of breads, vegetables or anything. Appetizers took as long as the dinner to come. Wait staff act snooty and lack any compassion. This was a birthday dinner, but they don't care about any of that. Wasn't even offered desert!!. For a hundred bucks, you'd expect a lot more, especially in Lewiston. I have gotten more and paid less in Portland and Vancouver..

“Great service”
Reviewed 31 January 2014 via mobile

We had lunch with a local Shiraz. The sandwiches were good and the soups were even better. They are a bit pricey but if you are in the valley, you would likely need to spend more in gas money to find such food. The servers were attentive and friendly.
