We headed down to Ruperts Restaurant after traveling all day. Iate, tired, and two kids. First, the waitress who at this time was working by herself was awesome. Great attitude, friendly and helpful about the food and menu. We had the special, orders of the Salmon and 1 kids meal. Everyone's plate was cleaned. Food was first class. Oh desert - awesome. What a pleasant surprise. Come here for skiing and eat in Ruperts.

Thank you for taking the time to review our sister property Rupert's. It's wonderful to get this great review especially during a very busy time at the restaurant during Winter Carnival.

My husband and I had made reservation online for a nice much needed relaxing overnight getaway (only one night due to work schedules). Roughly 8 hours later we received a call from someone informing us that due to the 3-day holiday weekend (Martin Luther King Jr Day) there was a two night minimum. Therefore we would not be able to stay there and had to cancel our reservations. If this was in fact the case, why were we even able to make the reservation in the first place? The only people that get a 3-day weekend are the ones that work for the government, banks, and or schools. Thanks for ruining our day Hotel McCall.

Good Morning..I am so sorry this happened. We did have a 2 night minimum to start and when we get closer we change it to the standard one night if any rooms should remain. We did this over a week ago. I am sorry you weren't put on a waiting list so we could have called you and double checked if we had availability that would work for you. We do a two night min. on all 3 day holidays, Winter Carnival, and 4th of July. This has always been out policy which also seems to work for most out guests.

Great place to stay. Friendly people. Easy access to the town. Walking distance to lake. We would stay here again if in the area. It is a fun town to visit in summer or winter. The entire area surrounding McCall is beautiful.

Went for drinks and dinner. While the restaurant was rustic, it is McCall after all, the food was fabulous. We had fish with a yellow curry sauce that was fresh and cooked perfectly. Great service to top it off!

Have stayed here a number of times now with varied experience. Booked our room with a dining experience package which Rupert's (restaurant) ended up being closed and then tried to change to a spa package last minute and was unable. *Must book at least 24 hrs in advance. For the history and quality of the experience to go to the next level these kinds of amenities need to be more accessible/less seasonal. Mattress was lumpy and room and jetted tub small. On the plus side the hotel is quaint, well located, and rates are competitive. Evening milk and cookies, free movie rentals and continental breakfast are nice.

Thank you for taking the time to do a review. I'm not sure how a package with Rupert's would have been booked for last week end. They are closed from Nov.1 till Nov 20th and I don't see anything on our books showing the reservation for dinner. I do show a spa treatment that was booked by guest at Spa del Sol for this last week end. I believe it was done down there by choice instead of at the Hotel. This may have been because they can only do the basics at the hotel. I will check further on this. As far as the mattresses are concerned they are brand new. They were delivered two weeks ago. I will check with housekeeping to see if the mattress cover could be causing the problem. The standard rooms are smaller but do have a nice deck overlooking the courtyard and the jetted tub is a standard size tub. Our larger rooms are called deluxe kings and we are also offering the fall special on those which as with our standard rooms quite a deal. I hope I have answered all your issues and hope you will try us again. We also do a spring special and that is always a fun time to be in McCall.
