“Go for the Beer, try the Food”
Reviewed 23 February 2014

First time in SRB's new digs. I like it, but it still fills up. Great beers, killer happy hour and surprisingly good food. Keep up the good work guys. I'll come back when the deck is open!

“Nice late afternoon lunch”
Reviewed 21 February 2014

My hubby and I shared the fish & chips with a cup of soup and a couple of micro-brew beers. Delicious and refreshing with a great staff!

“Go For The Beer”
Reviewed 9 February 2014

A very popular brew pub with exceptional beer and ok food. Recently moved to the train depot and now drawing a crowd because the pale ale and Shiver IPA are just so damn good. On weekends and holidays the crowd is mostly adults doing the beer/bar scene. Not really a place for families or kids. The draw is not the food or service. Elk burgers are ok, but nothing special. Fish in fish and chips was greasy. Best plan is to drink here and go to Crusty's for pizza!

“great beer”
Reviewed 29 January 2014

SRB is a great place to grab a beer! no matter your preference on ales, you are guaranteed to find a suitable taste! the food has been off and on, but the elk burger and salads have always been awesome for us! the atmosphere is usually pretty good, but can get a little rowdy, which is not necessarily a bad thing. overall worthwhile for all beer lovers!

“This Salmon is Headed up the River”
Reviewed 30 December 2013

We visited the brewery in its original funky location in September 2013. This time we walked from our motel to the original site and were surprised to find it empty. Luckily some locals were standing nearby and told us where to find the new and improved brewery and restaurant. Wow, have things changed! The pub is located in a historical train building that was moved to the site, by Lake Payette, years back. The decor is upscale, fun and follows with the fish theme. It was the Christmas holiday so the place was packed when we stopped by during happy hour on a Thursday and then again for a late lunch on Friday. The servers were friendly and working their tails off trying to please everyone. They were running out of food and beer (double IPA) before the weekend, but did their best to accommodate us. A server told us that Anheuser Busch had invested money into the facility. We are glad that they got an infusion of cash but hope it doesn't change the small town charm that the brewery once had.
