“The 3-Day Trip Rocks”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2014

We just finished a 3-day trip in early July. Normally at this time of year it is common to book a two day due to the river still flowing at a good rate. We chose instead to take a "layover day" on our second day. This was the best decision ever! After a fun first day on the upper section, including a hike to a hot spring on the side of a mountain, the second day was officially "chill time". Bocce Ball, kayaking, morning yoga on the beach, SUP'ing, hiking, playing the "trust" game on the rafts, turning one raft into a water slide, and sipping cold beverages in the river while enjoying the perfect Idaho weather!

Day three was filled with the best rapids of the trip, and having the inflatable kayaks to trade off in kept all of the thrill seekers in our group satisfied. We had 20 of us in our group, ranging in age from 16 to 58 and everyone had a blast.

The food was outstanding. The guides were knowledgable, professional and fun. Stephanie even let me take the oars for awhile!

One last very important point. As we were taking out on the third day we got to experience firsthand the difference between Salmon Raft and some of the other outfitters, as we shared the ramp. It is obvious that Salmon Raft has positioned themselves as a company that caters to those who want a true wild river experience and not just a booze cruise. It seems like some of the other outfitters are more interested in cramming people into the boats and it becomes just a production. I can't give a higher recommendation for Salmon Raft!!

“First class rafting!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 July 2014

What an experience Salmon Raft provided for us! Our group did a 3-day trip in July 2014, and wished it didn't end. The guides were all professional and informative, and the scenery was beyond our expectations.
Food, service, safety, comfort, fun---all first class!
Thanks so much, Chris and Lauren!

We've done many rafting trips over the years and this was certainly the best. Safety was paramount, knowledgable and experienced guides, great coordination for our large group. Highly recommended.

“River trip at its finest.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

My girlfriend and I booked a 2 day 1 night trip with Salmon Raft. Chris and Drew took us out and it happened to be only the 4 of us on this trip. Had a great time enjoying the view for the 1st half of the day.. then switched over to the duckie to have some fun in the waves in our own craft. (I would highly suggest trying this out). We ate like kings/queens for both lunch and dinner (great sandwiches, homemade cookies, steaks, peach cobbler, and even a few drinks). Camp was set up in an excellent spot with great views and an awesome beach. Day 2 had the larger rapids which I would also suggest doing using the duckie. It was awesome and a great workout.
If you wanted to be treated like royalty.. book a trip with these guys!!

“Salmon Raft is Awesome - Highly Recommended.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 July 2014

In June 2014 my family and I went to McCall for a big family get away. I discovered Salmon Raft online and corresponded with Salmon Raft (Lauren) about setting up a trip. Lauren was prompt to respond, flexible and accommodating with our group. We did the shorter day trip and totally got our monies worth. From planning the trip to executing the trip Salmon raft is top notch. The ride was safe, exciting and beautiful. My highlight of the trip was the guide taking us on a short hike up to a mountain hot springs (hollowed out log filled up with natural hot water). So cool!
