“Great snack before mountain biking”

We were on our mountain bikes in the late morning and heading out of town to explore the Bear Basin mountain bike trails. From McCall it was a 3 mile ride uphill to the trails, and we needed a quick snack to fuel us to our destination. I was thrilled to find a gluten free brownie offered at this cute little restaurant stop. It was a bit spendy for the portion, but how can you go wrong with a hit of chocolate?

Loved this little place!

We have very restrictive diets right now due to some crazy food allergies and Alpine Pantry didn't even flinch at our requests. Our food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

The little gal who helped us was amazing! Her second day on the job and we would not have known! She took our order thoroughly and asked the chef about specific things we needed to know with respect to the food.

What I can tell you about Alpine Pantry...it's organic, they offer gluten free options at breakfast and lunch, they sell local produce, they have a nice wine selection that you can drink on the premise, their salmon is Wild Alaskan not farm raised and there seemed to be quite a few locals showing their support!

It's a must try if you are in the area!

I stopped in the Alpine Pantry twice for breakfast last week, and was very pleasantly surprised. It might be a bit pricy, but the food exceeded expectations in quality and quantity. Staff ifs friendly. Take a minute to check out the food and beverage situation while waiting for breakfast. Some pretty cool stuff to be found.

We went here for breakfast when everything else was packed during winter carnival.....1 waffle costs 9.00, there were cut up apples on it, but that's it, nothing else came with the 1 waffle-and it was just ok. Would not recommend this place.
