Dropped by here this afternoon at 1 pm. Got a table inside, it was quiet with only one other table occupied. We had great service, the one time she was a little delayed she apologized (we hadn't noticed it). Food was good, beer was mild (had the lemon-ginger hefeweizen). Stop by if you enjoy breweries that serve food.

Came here for dinner for our friends 30th birthday, and we were very unimpressed.

Walked through the door, to an awesome looking atmosphere. We were greeted by a hostess or server who gave us the option of inside or the patio. We were eager to sit in the patio since the weather was awesome. Hostess then told us to walk upstairs push our tables together ourselves and our server would come see us. We were instructed by our server to get our own menus and that we could get our own water at a station on the patio. I filled our glasses (9 of them) and then the jug remained empty for the duration of our visit so we couldnt refill them.

Server was ok, Fairly condescending especially to the women. I was busy getting our table water so she skipped over my drink order completely.

Food was decent, however no turkey sandwich with onion rings should be $14.00. Especially when you should be saving money by having customers essentially serve themselves for the first 10 minutes of their visit.

I got the Coconut Porter and it was a great tasting start followed by a disgusting finish. It was almost as if the taps hadnt been blown out in forever or it had aged too long because it was so sour that I literally took two sips and stopped drinking it.

Needless to say we left unsatisfied with zero intention of returning. It was $46.00 for my boyfriend and I to have fish and chips, a turkey sandwich, and two beers.

Decided to give McCall Brewing Company a shot for dinner. Walked in, waited to be seated. Waitress came up asking if we wanted to sit inside or upstairs on the deck. She then stepped directly in front of me and paused as we were headed upstairs.

Arrived upstairs sat down to find out the menu had less items on it and they did not serve their beer sampler upstairs. We decided to go back downstairs.

We go back downstairs, wait to be seated. We mentioned that we came back downstairs for the samplers. We were told to go sit in the bar. As we were walking in, the waitress turned and asked ,(very rudely) if one in our party was 21. She then proceeded to confiscate the water glass from my husband saying those glasses are for upstairs, and she'd bring him a new one.

We sat down, she came by and asked what beers the guys wanted for their samplers, that they had 4 to pick. Then mentioned that they were out of 3 beers that were still being advertised to try. She never asked the ladies what we wanted. She just turned and walked away.

Fifteen minutes later she brought the beers, which turned out to be 5 samplers, and asked what we wanted. As we were ordering she kept correcting how we were wording what we wanted. Very condescending. All our meals came with fries, you could get rings, salad, or mashed potatoes for an up charge. The way she asked, made it sound like they were straight across options. "Do you want fries, rings, salad or mashed potatoes?" She should have said your orders come with fries, for $1.79 you can choose to have rings, salad or mashed potatoes.

Finally our food came, it was decent, not great. At one point she came by and filled our water glasses. Her thumb was in the water pitcher, pretty gross.

The bar area was inundated with flies, we were constantly swatting.

Her name was Monique, beware of this server.

Upstairs and downstairs seemed as if they were two different restaurants.

FYI: $8 for 5 4 oz sampler of beer.

Am giving them the lowest rating I can. The beer was good.

Good pub food with a wide selection of beers. Fun servers. Too bad they do not allow dogs. This place has a fantastic view of the city and lake from the top deck.
