We always stay at Mr Sandman at Meridian when visiting our family in Kuna. This was a special trip for us: 2 graduations - so we stayed longer than other stays. And, this time, having a room on the 1st floor just steps from the lobby (computer, newspaper, counter), the guest laundry, and the breakfast room was great. Tia, the manager, was very friendly and easy to talk to; all the staff was most courteous and helpful. There is a delightful small patio on the south side of bldg. with b-b-q's the guests can use and patio tables with chairs & umbrellas. I do have to mention my pet peeve: the light above the sink is completely inadequate to provide good lighting for applying makeup and other grooming tasks. But, then, every "home" has its drawbacks!

Room Tip: rooms on the southwest side of main bldg.are quieter; rooms in the the stand alone bldg. across from...

We were jut passing through on a road trip and booked with Hotels.com. For $75/night you get a decent, clean room and all you can eat breakfast which is not too bad. The review about the bathroom not having a door crake me up. The bathroom door is a slide out door like in a trailer. You just have to be smarter then the door. Overall this hotel is a good value.

We stayed here on the first night of out trip through Arches Park UT, Monument Valley, Grand Canyon etc.. Friendly service. Gave us a room down the end with another staircase, as we had a lot to carry up. The room was clean, had fridge, microwave and a decent bathroom. The only negative was the absence of reading lamps by the bed, but we were tired and didn't care.. On the bright side, the complimentary breakfast was pretty good, with inside and outside seating, waffle machines to make fresh waffles, precooked sausage and eggs for the egg McMuffin thing, cereal, yogurt, fruit and so on.... We enjoyed it and thought it gave the room good value..

The queen bed shook each time one of us moved. There was no hot water, but we were assured that the instant hot had been turned on. The back door was broken and tape covered the locking mechanism so there was no night security system. It was not super clean.
Other than that, it was fine. We skipped the breakfast and ate in town.
We would not return.

I spent several nights at the Mr Sandman Inn while on business. The king size bed was very comfortable. Wifi was free and excellent. Very passable breakfast at no charge. Waffles, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, hot and cold cereals, juices, toast, everything one might expect and more. I also liked the free daily Boise newspaper. Staff was very friendly, too.
For about the same as Motel 6 it offers a lot more amenities. Large enough room to comfortably work in. I was in room 120 and there was no highway or parking lot noise. I'll certainly return in the future. .

Our room was closer to Jb;s restaurant. WE have been staying there for years and the other rooms have never really deserved my opinion. This new room (140) was clean and it smelled great. The bed was a little hard to sleep on and the pillows were mini sizes as stated by "nashvilleroam". The hot tub had leaked water all over the carpet and caused the carpet to split which my husband tripped over. We did call them and they said they knew about the leaking hot tub but nothing was done. All in all it was a great room and nce again we WIll be there in May and July for the birth of our new granddaughter. The staff there also went above and beyond to help me find space to stay for an extra unplanned night. THANK YOU ALL!!!!
