i liked this restaurant because i had trout for breakfast. They give you a very big portion of trout with great seasoning and eggs with toast. It was one of the best breakfast that i have had in my life!

“Gotta love a diner!”
Reviewed 19 April 2012

We were led to this place by the desk clerk at the hotel we stayed at when we asked for a local owned place for breakfast. Could not have been happier. If you are looking for eggs, hash browns, pancakes, french toast et al than come on down. They even have vegetarian sausage! My sweetie got eggs and hashbrowns with ham and pumpkin bread toast and I got the big stack of three very large pancakes withe the veggie sausage. Portions good, properly cooked, may have been a bit on the slow side but it was Saturday morning late and we were not in any hurry. Get the pumpkin bread, it is AWESOME! If you want to support mom and pop and buy local this is the place for breakfast.

“Great food... service a bit slow.”
Reviewed 16 January 2012

Food was wonderful, lots of choices, service was a bit slow considering how many people were in the restaurant (3 tables other than us at most) Big portions, and reasonable prices.

“Classic home-style cooking!”
Reviewed 22 November 2011

Oliver's is a diner. That being said, it has affordable food that tastes like home cooking. We had the prime rib dinner for $13.99 and it came with a roll, soup or salad, choice of potato and green beans with a side of au jus. The diner hasn't been updated.....ever. The booth seats sagged and the light fixtures were total classic 70's style. My son had breakfast for dinner and the pancakes looked perfect, especially accompanied with thick slices of bacon and a generous portion of eggs. He ordered chocolate milk and it came in a huge glass. The service was average, but friendly. The atmosphere was quiet with oldies playing over the sound system. There is additional seating in a back room with round tables instead of booths. There was no wait and we could hear each other talk. The menu is large, portion sizes were generous and overall, very tasty. This is the kind of place where you could ask for your dish done just the way you like it and they would do it with a smile. For a change of pace, give them a shot!
