Wonderful place to stay - relaxing, very clean and comfortable. We plan on returning. Like other reviewers have said - it is a bit too far to walk into Sandpoint - but that is what makes this place special.

We had exceptional service from the first day i called to make the reservations. I have made many similar arrangements during my career and I recognize world class service easily. Kim and Daniel clearly obtained that level of service with our group as did the housekeeping staff who went above and beyond our expectations. I would not hesitate recommending this Hotel for another business retreat or personal vacation.

First of all, the setting is breathtaking, is located right on the lake with its own beach. There are lots of lawnchairs on the beach, it was never crowded.
The room was VERY clean and VERY nice. Looks new, the continental breakfast was very good as well, lots of variety. We went for walks on the Long Bridge, which is located right across the street.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
To sum it up, the Lodge is a bit spendy, but SOO very worth it. I was very happy we stayed there, and will the next time we are in Sandpoint!!

We stayed for 3 days and had a wonderful time. The Lodge is beautiful and sits right on the water. Everyone, from the maintenance and housekeepers to the owners were 100% concerned with our comfort and enjoyment. The owner, Glenn, even took my husband and I on an impromptu boat ride all along the beautiful Pend Oreille. We didn't have a car, but it was unnecessary because we biked or walked the 2 miles to town. The restaurant, adjacent to the hotel was superb! The setting and food were a highlight. Great continental breakfast each day and don't miss swimming out to the floating dock...it's divine!

The Lodge at Sandpoint was better than expected. The rooms are pricey but they gave us a great deal for the corner suite overlooking the water and mountains. We stayed 5 days. Hardly saw any other guests. Only 34 rooms total. And only a few of those with a lake view. Amazing set up in the lobby with pine walls and ceiling and a huge fire place. Staff was friendly. Dan was the best. He opened the hot tub after hours for us. Suite was super spacious and clean. Wonderful balcony! Ate at 41 South next to the Lodge and it was the best meal we've had in ages. The chef is a genius. The wait staff at 41 South were great too. Eat outside and enjoy the lake and mountain views while you dine. We plan on going back. Only complaint is the traffic noise from the bridge going to Sandpoint. Other than that, it is divine.

The Lodge at Sandpoint is an amazing facility! The views of the lake are spectacular. When you walk into the lodge the rustic but elegant main room will make you feel at home. My girlfriend and I stayed for 5 days and loved every minute of it and we really didnt want to leave. It was a special weekend for us and the Lodge was the perfect place for it. The restaurant 41 South right next door has the most amazing food I have ever had from appetizer to main course. The wait staff was exceptional just as the food was. I had special gifts for my girlfriend and the staff from the Lodge and the Restaurant were more than happy to help assist me with placing the gifrts on the table so it was ready for our reservation. Oh ya the views are stunning try and eat on the deck at sunset. The rooms were clean and very spacious and well laid out. Dan at the reception counter worked the night shift and was the nicest person i have ever encountered in a hotel reception desk. We will go back to this resort for sure!

We were headed for Glacier National Park and stopped at this new lodge on the lakefront for 2 nights before continuing to Montana. We had a standard studio + located on the first floor at the end of the building for 2 adults and one small child. It was incredibly quiet and the bed was very, very comfortable. The views were great and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It's just off the highway before the bridge to Sandpoint and is an absolutely lovely spot. They offered a complimentary boat ride though we did not do this. Breakfast was okay, nothing exceptional. Sandy beach was small and kids need water shoes to wade along the rocks. Staff very helpful to find activities for our 4 1/2 year-old on a Sunday when most of the town was shut. Otherwise a pleasant spot to break a journey with good restaurants in town.
