They provide a basket of fleece blankets for guest to use which made my grandaughters very happy. They also had beach toys for guests to use.
The other reviews have covered all the great stuff including Dan. The only negatives for me is they did not have any kid rental bikes and the convertable couch was not comfortable but the other couch in the living room was divine and the couch on the deck was great.

Dan was very accommodating when we called to ask if the Lodge accepted pets. We were offered one of the old cabins and told we might see a mouse. We never saw the mouse, but enjoyed staying in the cabin, swimming in the lake, watching the sunsets, and eating in the fabulous restaurant next door. The continental breakfast each morning was very good too. My only criticism was that the Lodge is too close to the main road and bridge, which is well trafficked and can be a bit noisy.

All of the staff were welcoming and helpful, the room in perfect condition, comfortable, spacious and beautifully appointed. There were several of our family members attending a wedding, the hotel has several lovely areas in which to gather. The outside decks are perfect for watching the lake activity. There is plenty of lawn area and a perfect beach setup with a dock and an excellent restaurant right next door.

Wonderful place to stay - relaxing, very clean and comfortable. We plan on returning. Like other reviewers have said - it is a bit too far to walk into Sandpoint - but that is what makes this place special.

We had exceptional service from the first day i called to make the reservations. I have made many similar arrangements during my career and I recognize world class service easily. Kim and Daniel clearly obtained that level of service with our group as did the housekeeping staff who went above and beyond our expectations. I would not hesitate recommending this Hotel for another business retreat or personal vacation.

First of all, the setting is breathtaking, is located right on the lake with its own beach. There are lots of lawnchairs on the beach, it was never crowded.
The room was VERY clean and VERY nice. Looks new, the continental breakfast was very good as well, lots of variety. We went for walks on the Long Bridge, which is located right across the street.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
To sum it up, the Lodge is a bit spendy, but SOO very worth it. I was very happy we stayed there, and will the next time we are in Sandpoint!!

We stayed for 3 days and had a wonderful time. The Lodge is beautiful and sits right on the water. Everyone, from the maintenance and housekeepers to the owners were 100% concerned with our comfort and enjoyment. The owner, Glenn, even took my husband and I on an impromptu boat ride all along the beautiful Pend Oreille. We didn't have a car, but it was unnecessary because we biked or walked the 2 miles to town. The restaurant, adjacent to the hotel was superb! The setting and food were a highlight. Great continental breakfast each day and don't miss swimming out to the floating dock...it's divine!
