Mikel Ole Storholt and I have stayed in this home a few times.. It's gorgeous - the entire home and grounds are like a work of art.. it's huge but still cozy and comfortable, as well.. and the owners are some of the kindest, nicest people I've met.. I met them when they were building the home... they commissioned me to do a stained glass window that would be installed in the home.. it's 7foot2 by 6foot2 and took up much of my workroom/studio while I was making it.. It is the huge window overlooking the kitchen/dining/and living room on the main floor. I was honored to be asked and so pleased they loved it. We delivered it and Mike helped install it.. Surround yourself with beauty, nature and art at this retreat.. It's so worth it! www.rimrockcreations.com ..including my webpage just in case .. needs updating bad but due to cancer and chemo I am still healing 3 yrs later.. Art on and Create!!~

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying for a quick over night getaway (Dec. 2013). We stayed in the Arbor room, AMAZING. The staff are all about making your stay as relaxing as possible. Their restaurant recommendations were on point! Not only is the property beautiful but the work they do is amazing. We look forward to future visits when visiting Idaho again. We would recommend Talus Rock to all family and friends. This would be an awesome place for a family reunion or work retreat.

This has got to be one of the most incredible places anywhere - a real paradise nestled in the woods just on the edge of town. So close to town, but you feel you are out in a pristine wilderness. The views are to-die-for and the place itself is....well, there are no words. It is actually a large home, that is shared as a B&B and it is like visiting your favorite doting relatives in their mansion. The hosts wait on you hand and foot, but are totally out of your hair if that's what you want. You will never want to leave here. Great attention to detail in every way. They also do big group events, meetings or gatherings on a daily basis. FANTASTIC!!!

Room Tip: They are all amazing - each one has a theme, is beautifully decorated and each has great views!

The atmosphere and staff at this charming B&B are both wonderful and elaborate. If you are looking for a reasonably priced retreat with relaxation in the center, Talus Rock is the place for you and your family.

Room Tip: Browse the web for various styles of rooms. They are all wonderful. They even have venues for larger groups!
