Excellent hotel, just there for stop between Portland, OR and Jackson, WY. Family of 4 with kids ages 7 and 6, who loved the pool. Room was clean and spacious, beds and pillows were very comfortable, shower and bathroom in great condition, and included breakfast was quite good as well. We'd definitely recommend staying here, and would stay again if in the area.

We stayed at this La Quinta for one night as part of a road trip. We have stayed at other La Quintas and are La Quinta Rewards members. We like that they allow dogs to stay for free (ridiculous that other hotels charge for this - if a dog does damage, just charge for it), and that has made us somewhat loyal to the brand when we can find a decent one.

Although we always like that La Quintas are pet-friendly, we have found that La Quintas can vary some re: quality. The newer ones are usually better. This one in Twin Falls looked newer. Our king room was large, with updated room furniture, bathroom, etc. The weird thing about our room was that it was definitely big enough to have a separate sitting area with couch and coffee table ( as some La Quintas do) but this large room had just a desk/chair and a chair/ottoman. We like to get take out and bring it to our room for dinner when we are on the road, and there was really nowhere in the room to set food out for two people. The room was very clean and in good condition. Great to have microwave and fridge too, another thing we like about the brand.

I had asked at check-in asked to be put on a higher floor, so that we could possibly have less noise and a better view. We were put on the first floor, since we had our dogs. While this was more convenient for taking our dogs out, it always bugs me when pet rooms are restricted to certain floors/rooms. The hotel has good areas for walking dogs though.

The breakfast was fine - pretty decent as free breakfasts go.

One nice thing about this La Quinta is that it has a small little store in the front next to the lobby with drinks, snacks, supplies, etc. Very convenient, and my husband was even able to get a good beer there!

We would definitely stay here again, but my only big issue was the water in the shower. The pressure was good, but the water had this heavy, slimy feel to it (too hard?) - I had to keep rinsing and rinsing to get shampoo, soap off, and this took forever (and never really felt like it came off).

Twin Falls is a cute town - hard to tell this from the highway, but once you get to the river gorge, you can really see it. The hotel is close to the gorge, and we wish we had had more time to explore the area.

Thank you for taking the time to send in your comments regarding your recent stay with us. We strive to provide all our guests with a clean and comfortable place to stay while they are traveling. I apologize you did not get an upper floor and will be working with my staff to make sure we are doing everything we can to accommodate our guest's request. We are 100% pet friendly and we do not limit our guests to the first floor when they are traveling with pets. We try and accommodate any special requests as long as there is availability. We also do have our King Executive room that does offer a sitting area with a couch, which sounds like might work better for you if you travel back our way. Twin Falls does have very hard water and we do our best to make sure that it is treated so that our guests have a pleasant experience. Thank you once again for giving us this valuable feedback and we wish you many happy travels.

The most pet friendly hotel we've ever stayed at. The outdoor walking areas were abundant, well maintained and stocked with bag dispensers and disposal cans. I saw no adverse dog encounters as in some other places. The staff was very friendly and professional.

Room Tip: If you have a dog, take the ground floor to avoid pet encounters in an elevator or on stairs. We had...

Lovely hotel! Very nice upscale lobby with cookies when you checked in. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom was well lit and extremely clean. The grounds were well kept and the dog area was clean but also near a busy street. The breakfast was really nice with a fruit bar and real food. We stayed here on our last day of a long trip and it was very nice to end the trip this way. We did not use the pool or fitness areas but they looked very well kept. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful.
