“Basic Motel”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2014

I regularly stay at Motel 6's when on the road - they are pretty consistently priced but they are not all the same. This one had the updated wood floors which I do like, but I was put in a handicap room which is good for someone in a wheelchair, but not good otherwise due to the layout. It doesn't allow for much usable space, no vanity in bathroom, no table & chairs. There was a desk/nightstand in one corner with a chair. I am used to Motel 6's not having a frig in the room and just rely on the ice machine and my cooler. Usual AM coffee service in the lobby. Some Motel 6's give free Wi-Fi, this one did not. Very courteous and friendly front desk. There are many restaurants within walking distance. I know what to expect in general so I am satisfied with staying at Motel 6's when I am on the road as they are clean and comfortable enough for a night's stay.

The hotel is in a great location and the front desk staff were amazing! The bed was pretty uncomfortable but for the price not that bad. Room was small but cozy but it was clean. They were very courteous and offered extra blankets and pillows and also towels.

We stopped at Motel 6 for an economical overnight with a pet. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and the price very reasonable. We had a difficult time, however, with the bare floors which Motel 6 has instituted for ease of cleaning. They make the rooms feel cold, and are uncomfortable for walking as well as for a pet sleeping unless you carry some kind of pet bed. The location was within easy walking distance of several restaurants

It looked like the rooms have been recently remodeled. They were really nice! It actually felt like a higher end motel without the little bottles of shampoo! Everything was clean and comfortable. The only glitch was a loud thumping noise around 4 am. I couldn't tell of it was another guest or the washing machine on spin cycle! The staff was very accomodating and friendly!

We stayed here just overnight on our road trip and I thought it was a great hotel for getting a good night's sleep and a warm shower in the morning. The price was right and the room was clean. No frills so don't expect anything fancy. I accidentally kleptoed the remote so I called them the next day and got it straightened out with them. Their staff was really friendly and helpful on the phone.

This was a good Motel 6 location. The room was very clean and looked as though it had just been refitted and.painted. The staff were pleasant and helpful (pointed out a discount at a local restaurant). The location is central to all types of stores and restaurants. Most important the price is right.

Good clean place for a decent price.

My sister and I were passing through here on a road trip and were attracted by the sign that said 1 person for $49 a night. They gave us a military discount so we ended up getting it for to people for $49 a night. I actually felt safe staying here as there were plenty of families around and non-sketchy looking people. The room was clean and I liked the hard wood floors instead of carpet. There were lots of food places around as well. The only problem came at check out time. We managed to forget our pillows but called no more than 30 minutes after we left and told them what room we were in and that we wanted to pay to have them shipped to us. Somehow, even though one of them had a blue pillow case, they managed to lose the pillows. As someone who works at a hotel, I can tell you that is complete crap. We left a good 2-3 hours before check out time so the person who we called should have immediately gone up to our room (there were 3 front desk agents working when I checked out) and took the pillows down to the front desk so housekeeping would not get them mixed up with the others. Very disappointed in the lack of responsiveness on this issue. Make sure you don't forget anything expensive if you stay here!

Room Tip: Make sure you check your room thoroughly before you leave, as you will not be getting anything back...
