I've been eating at Fischer's since I was a child in the 60's. While they do offer a full menu, the best thing on their menu then as now, is the pizza. Fischer's pizza is similar to Imo's in that instead of the typical mozzarella cheese, the use a provolone blend. Myself and a lot of Belleville natives think Fischer's cheese is even better than Imo's. On Tuesday nights, 2 topping pizzas are 1/2 price.
Fischer's also has a very good salad with a house Mayfair dressing, a type of Ceasar, that is one of my favorites anywhere. They have Rumaki appetizers which are fried chicken livers and water chestnuts wrapped in bacon.
The downside about Fischer's is the consistency. When it's good, it's VERY good. But in all honesty, occasionally it is a bit substandard. Still worth the gamble IMHO.
