Booked a double room here at the very last minute due to poor adjacent accommodation at a hotel.
Room was very pretty and although on the small size was perfectly adequate for our 1 night stay. Staff were very welcoming and our room was clean and fresh. Bathroom was small but clean - lovely white fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries.
Room rate included breakfast which was also very good and freshly made to order.
We stayed because we were attending a function at the pub - so may be noisy if you are not. We also thought road noise might be a problem but it wasn't and we had a very comfortable night's sleep.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this pub for a short break to this part of the country.
