Description: The Grove is the kind of mini-break destination that couples the country over dream of escaping to. Surrounded by meadows of wildflowers in Narbeth, Pembrokeshire, this hidden gem boasts the perfect mix of boutique-chic style and down-to-earth, countryside charm and the hotel restaurant is a chilled and discreet spot for business dining, romantic tte-a-ttes and afternoon tea parties. Spread out over three different dining rooms, this elegant hideaway offers a modern country menu created by chef Emilio Fragiacomo, and highlights include the crab, fennel, radicchio and chilli salad; the salt marsh lamb with a minted cherry tomato salsa; and the gooey vodka meringue with summer berries.

“Excellent Meal”
Reviewed 7 May 2014 via mobile

Excellent food. First class! Excellent staff and very relaxing. Lovely surroundings and atmosphere. Also has great accommodation, although we didn't actually stay this time. Stayed here a few years ago, quite a few changes have been carried out. Will definitely eat here again!

“Excellent Lunch”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

Four of us had lunch in this hotel just 2 minutes outside Narberth on a lovely Spring day.
Attentive staff without being overwhelming. Had expected a standard 3 course lunch, but we had little nibbles with our pre lunch drinks, served in the drawing room. Once seated at our table we had an excellent lunch with an Amuse Bouche, and Petit Foure as unexpected extras.
Nouvelle Cuisine style cooking and presentation a delight for the eyes and palate. Staff described your plated items, but in a relaxed informal manner.
The weather was not nice enough for a stroll in the grounds after lunch, but we intend to return and next time definitely have that stroll!

“A Real Treat”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

Wonderful location which has been beautifully renovated by the owners. Food is delicious but expensive. However, you really feel as though you have had a treat when eating there so worth it for special occasions.

“Gorgeous venue, amazing food ”
Reviewed 8 April 2014 via mobile

Went to the Grove for afternoon tea, it's a beautiful venue with very professional attentive staff.
Room for afternoon tea was comfortable and warm with a gorgeous open fire.
Tea itself was absolutely delicious (egg sandwiches to die for!) with lots of choice of beautiful cakes and miniature desserts.
All this made for a very memorable treat, I have already recommended to lots of people!
Really special day out in a beautiful setting.
