We have stayed at the Old Rectory for 2 weekends running - booked the second week, following the first stay. It is a lovingly renovated B&B in a very small village near Narberth. Very welcoming hosts. The rooms are immaculate - very comfortable beds and good showers. The decor is Victorian - the attention to detail is superb. Breakfast is very good - fresh fruit and Greek yogurt, home made muesli, homemade bread for toast and the cooked are some highlights. Free WIFI. Lounge/dining room is very comfortably furnished - I wanted to laze on the chaise longue all day and read Pride and Prejudice. The bedrooms have a TV/DVD - there are a selection of DVDs and books to borrow. We paid £80 per night - the quality of the accommodation is definately worth more. We have stayed in both the Blue and Green rooms - both we very good - lovely fireplaces, table and chairs by window.

Stay here, you will not regret it. This fully restored old rectory has been resurrected and given a new lease of life by the owners Steve and Jane. The food is top notch tucker, the rooms are clean and the B&B finds itself in a beautiful setting. As a solo traveler exploring the Pembrokeshire coast it was helpful that J&S were extremely knowledgeable of the surrounding area and made my trip extremely interesting indeed.

This is a home away from home and for a modest price considering the perks!

It is hard to find a place that adapts according to your personal needs and the Old Rectory is that place. Steve and Jane are as much part of our family as my uncle and aunt. They always knew what was on our mind. I just fell in love with the surrounding forest lands. The home cooked meal where a cherry on top at the end of the day that seemed to go by so quickly. I cant wait to return over the winter!

Lovely old rectory beautifully restored with a building dating backto the Normans with Georgean, Victorian and modern touches. Room a lovely combination of period decode and mod cons, with a fine power shower. Host and hostess very welcoming to us and our muddy Labrador puppy, very different from their beautifully behaved Irish setter. Breakfast delicious with very nutty home made Muesli and bread, still warm, and perfect cooked breakfast.

My father and I stayed here for one night at the end of March 2012. Steve and Jane were very welcoming and could not have been more helpful or hospitable. We were immediately made to feel that we had the run of the house including the gardens, not just our bedrooms. The Old Rectory has been restored by Steve (a retired architect) and Jane to a very high standard and it's obvious a lot of love and care has gone in to renovating the place. Our bedrooms were large and tastefully furnished, as was the whole house. The Old Rectory is situated in a quiet village, close to Narberth and the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast, which is perfect if you're travelling through or touring around Pembrokeshire. This is definitely a cut above most B&B's i've been to and manages to be both classy and relaxed at the same time. It's very reasonably priced for what you get and we'd highly recommend it.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Green room and the Amber room both of which are quiet with good views.
