Owner description: Chicago's breath-taking National Landmark Theatre hosts concerts, comedians, theatrical productions and special events every year. The 3,600 seat auditorium is seven stories high, and the vertical "C-H-I-C-A-G-O," sign is one of the few such signs in existence today. A symbol of State Street and Chicago, the marquee is a landmark in itself, as is the Wurlitzer pipe organ. Patrons can also go behind-the-scenes on their educational venue tour, which runs a few times a week.

Ok.......we went to see the Monkees.........beautiful theater with good acoustics. Our concert experience was very good and we had a blast. We will attend at this location again when they have something we wish to see. Only bad note is that a small screwdriver is $9 but hey.........if you want the experience you have to pay.

Thank Bob T

This is another beautiful theater, smaller than The Fox, but all the ambiance. Great place for a date night.

Lovely old theatre in great condition. Not too big and not too small. I don't think there would be a bad seat in the house.

We happened to visit when Dick Van Dyke was the lead in The Music Man. He was the perfect ham for the part and it was a blast. You will enjoy your visit. Have fun.

I like this theatre because most of the seats are good. It's old decor makes it very nice. We saw the Beach Boys and the sound system was good the lighting was good.
