The area is changing and there are some VERY GOOD new resturants in this area but there are still some Fabulous taco stands with fresh tacos in the area too! Don't miss them or be afraid to eat at them!

This is a fun neighborhood to walk in - where many of the store front signs are in Spanish and English (or just Spanish). It's as if you are walking into another country. I suggest going on a hunt of all the great murals painted on the sides of buildings in this neighborhood, and along the way stopping and the little stores and bakeries along the way. You won't be disappointed!

Pilsen is a nice neighborhood to have lunch and take a walk and visit the museum of Mexican Art.
I have 2 fav restaurants there. One is more authentic,it has great food and it's very cheap: Nuevo Leon. It's a true Mexican experience.
The other has a very creative cuisine and it's more expensive: Mundial Cocina Mestiza. The food is amazing.
Both are very good.
I also recommend the museum of Mexican Art. It's interesting and it's free. The shop has great handcrafts from Mexico.
And the metro station is very unique.
