It's crazy how many stores there is! Some are visible from the street, others are in 7floor shopping malls. Check it out for the afternoon. All price ranges

So much to see and one. Hard to know where to start. We walked the whole length dropping in to places of interest or just people watching.

Really amazing shopping! The Tiffany's, Burberry and Ralph Lauren shops are a must see (even if you cannot afford a $100,000 necklace). But my big tip is if you are an overseas resident ask at Macy's about a 10% discount card for your stay in Chicago!

The two miles or so between the Art Institute and the Water Tower provide a great walking experience. It has everything: Millennium Park, gardens, the Cloud Gate sculpture, the exuberant music pavilion by Frank Gehry, architectural features such as the Wrigley Building, Tribune Tower, John Hancock, and Chicago's own miniature castle and beloved survivor of the Great Fire, the Water Tower. Plenty of good shopping and eating along the way, too!

I did walk along this street a few times during my stay in Chicago. My favourite times where early in the morning and late at night when all shops were closed; you get a clear view of the amazing architecture of this beautiful city.

I cannot be a reliable source on shopping in this district.
