This longstanding zoo is designed very well with exhibits that have been well designed and maintained. Lots of lovely shaded areas and walkways that wind from one exhibit to the next for families, school field trips and individuals.

Great for a run or a walk. Will miss popping in after a bus ride home.

This zoo is in downtown chicago. It is a huge zoo with alot of animals. The backdrop of zoo are skyscrapers. Very cool place to go. The zoo itself is free all you have to do is pay for parking. If you go to chicago you should check it out for sure. It has alot of history. I love the polar bear exhibit

The Lincoln Park Zoo is an incredible free attraction in downtown Chicago. It is readily accessible by a bus route that runs right down Michigan avenue after leaving the zoo and dropped us off a few feet freom our hotel doors. It is a very clean zoo. We particularly enjoyed the Monkey and Ape exhibits. The cotton candy made fresh near the park entrance was delcious and reminded me of days gone by when everything was not prepackaged. Zoo staff were helpful and informative. Don't miss this nice attraction and save time for the free Lincoln Park Conservatory next door.

The zoo is really great for families. The zoo is small, but perfect to hold the attention of children. The children like the petting zoo, and you do not have to walk for miles to see the different animals. The location off the lakefront is excellent.
