This zoo is a free attraction in Chicago and is wonderful! We had a great time there even if the weather didn't cooperate. It's a quick bus ride from the Magnificent Mile. Definitely check it out if you can!

What a fun zoo!!! There were many different types of animals that all looked healthy. The layout was a bit confusing but it was worth the discovery.

This zoo is a mid-size place with plenty of exhibits to keep the family occupied for 2-4 hours. The best part is the price is free. The parking, however, is not free. It cost us $25 for 3 hours. But since you can go in and out for free, you can bring a picnic lunch and save money on food and drink. Or there are places to eat. I had to get my Chicago hot dog, so that's what I ordered. There aren't many free zoos left, so I think this was a good value. I particularly enjoyed the bird exhibit. There is much to see to draw the interest.

What a great place. Lot's of animals with great habitats. We had a great experience on our Chicago Girls Trip. It's free to get in but we paid $30 for parking which was fine. Would love to return on my next trip to The Windy City.
