“Kudos to the Ritz for being so kid friendly!”

Went to the Ritz with the kids for an overnight city adventure. The room was lovely and had a great city and lake view. Upon arrival the kids received a toy in the lobby and after check-in, the hotel sent milk and cookies up to our room. Delightful! The kids enjoyed the mini bathrobes and kid slippers and had a great time in the pool. The pool is pretty deep and not very kid friendly, but they still had a blast. We ordered room service for dinner and breakfast and everything was excellent. Hats off to the Ritz for catering to its young guests! We will be back

Long weekend getaway with my husband. Great location, courteous staff, spacious room with a view of the pier and the lake. Excellent housekeeping. On site restaurant okay but extremely poor service experience there. Some of the furnishings could use a little update.

We come back here every year for a girlfriend's night. The service is top-notch from parking valet to bell hop! Jeanette at the front desk was so welcoming. The location is excellent for shopping, dining and activities. See ya next year Ritz Chicago!!

Not the first time I have stayed here... and certainly not the last. This is what a true 5-star hotel should look and feel like in a major city. Adjacent to great shopping. In-house restaurant is great and room service even better. Attentive and professional staff from beginning til end. The one flaw was the valet. Seems like they were ironing out the kinks in their new system. Took well over 15 minutes to receive my car upon checkout. But staff was apologetic.

My wife and I just got back from a 2 night stay at the Chicago Ritz Carlton. The stay couldn't have been better!
Took advantage of a great rate and were able to stay in a Grand Executive Suite. Beautiful room along with a beautiful view of the lake as well as towards the North on Michigan Avenue.
The service was impeccable! All employees bend over backwards to make your stay great. There were just too many incidences of great service to list here, but just know that you will be well taken care of if you stay here.
We received a special gift for our anniversary as well as wonderful rose petals on the floor leading to the bedroom on one of the nights.
Make sure to try out the deca restaurant in the lobby. Great service provided there as well. Ahmed went out of his way to make our Anniversary special!
Rooms are ultra quiet! Never heard anyone else in the hallways, or next door, and slept like a baby in the very comfortable bed.
Helpful Hint....there are no coffee makers in the room, but if you ask for one, they will gladly bring one to you for the room!
Being right on top of Water Tower Place is a huge plus...didn't have to go outside to do a little shopping while it was cold and snowy!
Special thanks to Monique for helping to make this a memorable weekend in the city!

My wife and I stayed for a 2 night weekend away. We received a wonderfully comfortable king room with a lake view. The bathroom was great: spacious, well-lit, with a wonderful shower.
Bed was Four-Seasons-comfortable.
But as with other FS experiences, what really sold the experience was the service.
Impeccable.
Example:
As we left after valet parking the car and noting a problem on the ride back home, I called the hotel to let them know. I spoke with Jake, the Customer Service Manager who demonstrated a degree of empathy and service that I've only experienced at a few hotels.

Very, very nice hotel in Chicago, IL. I travel a lot for work and this hotel lives up to the Ritz-Carlton / Four Seasons standards. Everything was very nice. The room was a nice size, clean and everything was in perfect order. I would absolutely recommend this hotel without reservation and would stay here again - no doubt about it.
